What if someone says "What does wtb mean?"

EDIT: It's unfair to limit/ restrict people like this in chats, especially since it's a small minority that actually breaks the rules. If you see someone spamming chats like this then you can report them. If I remember correctly, using the wrong chat one for the first time will only get the player a verbal warning, however repeated infractions of the rules can result in some kind of punishment.

They can figure it out, or just whitelist it in help chat.

There are several alternatives to just "WTB / WTS", such as "buying / selling", "want to buy / want to sell", "looking for <pokemon>", it is simply too broad of possibilities to just blacklist WTB/WTS as there will always be alternatives people will use to work around that particular word filter.
