Re: WTS epic Bold Happiny / Impish Happiny (Evolution now coded)

<r>Due to some unprovoked attacks while online, I feel the need to explain a little bit about what a Chansey is supposed to do.<br/>

<br/>

Quite simply, <B><s></s><HIGHLIGHT highlight="green"><s></s>Chansey does not need to have any special attack stat.<e></e></HIGHLIGHT><e></e></B> Any sane recommended strategy for Chansey always has seismic toss or toxic in its moveset. That is because instead of trying to damage opponents with its pathetic 35 base special attack stat, it is better to wear them down with seismic toss which deals a soild 100 hit point damage every time. <br/>

<br/>

<HIGHLIGHT highlight="green"><s></s><B><s></s>Then why do people prefer bold Chanseys? This is because the attack stat comes into play when your pokemon is confused.<e></e></B><e></e></HIGHLIGHT> When it is confused, it deals more damage to itself when its attack stat is higher. Of course chansey has a base attack stat of 5. So even with full ivs, it does little damage to itself. But in the original games, you could always breed the perfect Chansey with a 0 iv in Attack and make it bold. If it was impish instead, it would not matter much since, the difference between the two is negligible but why not optimize if you can?<br/>

<br/>

What about in Pokemon Revolution Online? In PRO, as far as I know, Eviolite is not coded yet. <HIGHLIGHT highlight="green"><s></s><B><s></s>Most people consider an eviolite holding Chansey to be superior to any Blissey. But in this game eviolite Chansey is not viable yet.<e></e></B><e></e></HIGHLIGHT> So if you are going to choose a Blissey instead of waiting for eviolite to be coded, you may need the special attack stat. Many strategies for Blissey recommend Seismic Toss over other moves, but there are many movesets recommending moves like thunderbolt, flamethrower, calm mind, etc. <br/>

<br/>

<B><s></s><HIGHLIGHT highlight="green"><s></s>So in short, if you want to wait for an eviolite Chansey, you can go for either impish or bold, and you do not need any special attack stat.<br/>

If you want to go for a Blissey, you may need special attack stat depending on what strategy you are going to choose for your Blissey.<e></e></HIGHLIGHT><e></e></B><br/>

<br/>

Please take this into consideration before attacking me uninvited in game about my Happinys' low special attack stats.</r>
