282993 guys they said that legendaries with 600 BS and below are catchable from players..so the 3 birds of kanto which have 580 BS are catchable right?

 

I think they will eventually be catchable. In the past they have shown something that may going to be used for a quest to get catchable bird trio, but it seems the quest is being put in the backburner at the moment.

I think doing such would sate the thirst for legendaries that everyone seems to be having.

It's up to our content and development teams to decide what new content/quests are implemented within the game. Do know that exciting new content is constantly being worked on and added into the game, however. :) Be sure to keep tabs on the Announcements subforum for news on future updates!
