I would like a smallish feature to show how rare a pokemon is. This would not indicate how rare a pokemon is overall, only how rare it is in a given region. This would make it a lot easyer to see where it is worth to look for a pokemon. This should only show rarity in the map and not in the pokecodex. There are a few guides that show where can you catch pokemons but they only have common and rare options. Also some false info is there which might couse players to farm places where a pokemon is horribly rare while there are places where it is uncommon.

 

This could be made with a small indicator in the left bottom corner on the map at each pokemon. Starting from common - > uncommon -> rare -> horribly rare ect.

 

This way there will be less rage by new players killing of rares and only later realizing it. I did this myself a few times and it is annoying but a longtime poke player I am used to it.

I like the idea of knowing when someone catches a rare or valuable find.

That idea is almost as bad as your font, what would be the point of a wiki showing how rare a pokemon is, when we have the forums to literally discuss it.

 

The point is to make it easier for people to figure out how rare a pokemon is based on stats or shiny. Without having to rely on some noob calling their pokemon with terrible stats "epic".

 

If we had a rarity indicator like the majority of mmo's, not only would this no longer be a problem. But trading over all would be a lot easier.
