Is this combination working well? Asking ingame some people says it does and some people says it does not.

I tryed to use my Guts Conkeldurr with a Flame Orb but I have the feeling that I do less damage when te orb burns me.

Guts negates the atk stat drop from flame orb.

While the Pokémon with this Ability has a status condition, its Attack is increased by 50%. The Pokémon with this Ability does not lose Attack due to burn.

Facade inflicts damage. Its base power doubles from 70 to 140 if the user is poisoned, paralyzed, or burned. Burn's effect of lowering the Attack stat is still applied, unless the user has Guts.

Correct me if I wrong, I don't understand completely the ecuations of the damage in one attack, but if I do Knock Off to a poke and I toke his item off (so 50% boost), and in the next turn flame orbs is activated and I do Knock Off again (with the burn it should be 50% boost) don't should I do the same damage?

should be correct yeah, cuz knockoff will remove the item so the extra 50% but guts+brn gives them back

Did you read what I said? lool I said that guts negates the stat drop from burn...... So that means it works as intended.

 

Same applies for knock off, as the item triggers before the item is knocked off. YOu don't have to be holding the item for it to work as intended. Its the status effect that matters.

Well that's why I think it doesn't works correctly, because I was in that situation twice and in both ocasions the second hit did less damage
