Some people link 5-6 Shinies in Trade chat while I'm yet to meet a single Shiny Pokémon in the wild. Numbers should be in my favour as I must be over 8k defeated Pokémon by now. I'm in Hoenn's Granite Cave, just past the first Badge, and I've already defeated 500+ Pokémon only in Hoenn (while looking for Ralts and Aron). And I've farmed and ground countless hours in Dragon's Den and back in Kanto as well. So, is there anyone else so unlucky as me, or is it really only me? P.S. Seriously, people linkin 5-6 Shinies in Trade which have preferable natures...? How does that happen? I was unlucky too, spent 4 months without a single shiny, then yesterday I found two shinies in one day. Sesshomaru Posted November 16, 2016 Share Posted November 16, 2016 thats nothing, i found my last shiny yesterday, before that i was 1000 hours without any shiny. its all rng, having 8k encounters means nothing, even with 100k encounters you arent guaranteed a shiny.
