Brezbrah Posted November 20, 2016 Share Posted November 20, 2016 Hi, I have a tyrogue that I just got to lvl 20 I used proteins on him to make sure I would get a hitmonlee but it still evolved into a hitmontop when I had a few points more attack than defence. This tyrogue is a really nice one and its pretty much trash now since its not what it was supposed to evolve into. Can you fix this please? Fippsie Posted November 20, 2016 Share Posted November 20, 2016 Protein does not raise the Attack Stat. It raises the BASE Attack Stat, or the EV value. Every 4 EV points turns into 1 STAT point at level 100, but not until level 100. Until you reach level 100, the stat point conversion is done on a percentage type transition. EV points are turned into STAT points AFTER a battle. So you would need to put the pokemon into a battle to have it gain STAT points from the EV points you gave it (Protein). I believe placing the pokemon in the computer and taking it back out will convert the EV points to STAT points, but I'm not 100% sure on that. also you could have told it not to evolve if it didn't show what you want it to be?
