Toxic Spikes 2nd layer

Featured Replies

Recently i've been testing the damage of toxic spikes layers, and i guess that the damage of both layers is the same. This move has a bug, or the difference between layers's damage isn't significative?

the first layer poisons (losing 1/16th of the max HP) and a second layer badly poisons. A badly poisoned pokemon will lose 1/16th of max HP in the first turn and the dmg will increase by 1/16 per turn (1/16, 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, ...). So u dont see a big difference in the first few turns. afterwards it gets more significant. And the second layer wont change the status to badly poisoned once a pokemon is poisoned

i cant tell u if the % are correct, but the dmg badly poisoned pokemons receive per turn is increasing

I will keep testing. In the first turns i can't notice a difference, so i will try to check in a 4th+ turn. Thanks for reply

The first layer actually deals 1/8th of your max HP; the second layer is described correctly.
