Why Daycare is needed!

In an MMO it would be rediculous to have breeding.

Why?

This is my opinion, and feel free to disagree.

1. No matter how much time it takes, breeding is ultimately going to turn into a way to get perfect IV Poke. And that is it. That is the end of it. Are there hobbyists who like breeding? Of-course yes. They might do it for the fun of it, but the regular player just wants the best IVed poke.

2. Whats wrong with a perfect IVed poke? For me, it is going to discourage a new player, or even a regular player who doesn't spend a lot of time playing the game, to just not battle. It makes the game unbalanced in favor of breeders, good IV poke prices go down, the game becomes all about money.

3. Are there ways to stop the abuse of the breeding system specifically as it relates to the above statements? Yes and the topic suggests a few. You got to ask at the end of it then, why go through having a breeding system at all then? Can't trade breed-able Poke, can't breed rare Poke, if monitoring is suggested, too impractical to watch every poke [as if hackers aren't enough headache]. What will this system achieve then? Breeders having perfect IVed poke, for which they did not have to interact with other people much; end of an MMO in a nutshell. Why code it at all then?

Again im going to state this;

We will not have breeding, a basically free process of gaining another rare pokemon. Breeding would essentially make hunting useless and pointless, something an MMO just isnt compatable with.

The encounter rates have been adjusted such that there will be a good balance of rarities.

hmm this is just my idea...

how about this pokemon breeding only can trade using poke coins or game cash, the poke coin is a game cash for bought some rare item or rare tm example zoom lens and ice beam

There are your reasons, also as someone previously stated: breeding leads to perfect IVs which would mean that eventually everyone could have identical teams which would make PvP less fun.

How about we all listen to the admin.

Breeding WILL NOT be in Pokémon Revolution Online.

Argue your reasoning all you want.
