what's the range of point for 1st/2nd/3rd place? is it random, consistent or based on other player's bugs or what?... sry for the dumb question (can you answer it if you don't mind)

when ever i have 5 minutes left and i dont have good pokes i go for weedles with good ivs lol and evolve them in the bca and lucky me i always get 230 to 260 points
