Currently, the game have only regions upto Sinnoh. So, there are still two more regions to be added before Alola. The game had now upgraded to gen 7. Generation 7 Pokemon have also been added to pokedex. They might or may not have plans to add Alola. But I'm sure it'll take time if it's going to be added. Currently, they are working on updating ever to gen 7. Soon, we will be able to have gen 7 Pokemon. Just keep an on the announcements both on forums and discord as they'll announce ever 4th change over there. Good luck!

i think u r referring to kalos and unova which was already released in sun and moon ultra base off what was released its nothing new...

On my opinion alonan region Will be added but only the few islands. And every region may have tasks to do before unlock other island

I think Grand was referring that the Pokemon on the regions not implemented are available to get (or implemented and soon to be available). Unova and Kalos regions are not available yet, surely these will be added before Alola. Will it be implemented? Surely, but expect a long date.

Since the server update from silver and gold the updates for sun and moon ur referering to as alola and kalos so check ur p.r.o. Wikipedia and u will see them release some of those regions pokemon for purchases.

@Ayinai , like thor sayed they are working in a region that is not kalos/unova, and yes will be a long date, for now they are closing the sevi islands (25/26th may) and will be for non-menbers, this will have a new quest line for unlock the islands, a new quest to go to sinoh instead of "defeating boss-hide and seek quest" and there will be some alonan forms or pokémons .

 

Some alonan Pokémons that are from last remaining generations and evo at aloan region , will be updated and there are plans for then, about the appearance at pokedéx, this types of pokémons maybe will count as a evo when you evolve to alonan form, but will be count as a normal evolution. for exemple , pikachu to alonan raichu will appear at dex as you owned a normal raichu evo.
