Well to complete story fast do not evolve pokes cuz in first form they r easy to lvl up so evolve them after lvl 90.

Dawg I see people trying to sell trash Pokémon all the time. Is Abra the best in the game? Is it that hard to catch? I see people trying to sell it all the time

some useful information regarding buying and selling

People evolve their Pokemon in level 90s cause starting stages of Pokemon level up faster than later stages. People sell Abra cause it is one of the Pokemon having the ability synchronize. If the first Pokemon in your team has the ability sync, it'll increase the chance of getting a wild Pokemon of the same nature of the sync Pokemon by 50%

Also don't bother ev training until you get your hands on a macho brace. Proper evs aren't really needed in story and it'll just take so long without a brace. You can get it in johto from an npc trade (give drowzee get machop holding a brace). Then that npc later sells a brace per week for 20k. So if you buy a brace from someone don't pay anymore than 30k. You can also get it from digs in kanto but it is VERY rare.
