Welcome! I have a few tips:

 

- Don't evolve your pokemons too early! The exp curve is bad for evolved pokes

- Do the Officer Jenny quests! She can be found in a few of the cities in Kanto and will give you some nice starting money

- Your pokemons will be locked after each region, make sure to take items from them before moving to the next map

 

Else than that, enjoy your time! PRO is a nice game and has a lot to offer
