I'm not too far into the game. I'm grinding now to fight Misty.

Right now I have Ivysaur, Snubbull, Pikachu, Cleffa, Magikarp, and Teddiursa.

 

I don't think I'll have too much trouble with Misty, being that my first four Pokémon all have Grass or Electric moves,

but are there any issues I could see later in Kanto with this comp?

 

the only thing you need to concern while doing story is the level of your pokemons

and gyarados is a great poke for e4 in all regions

They're all around lvl 30 except Magikarp.

I'm purposefully not evolving the others.

I'll most definitely have Magikarp evolved by the time I get Surf though

Looks pretty solid. Here's a tip that I found out the hard way. Don't fully evolve your pokemon until they are higher leveled because it takes WAY more experience to level up if they're fully evolved. At this point in the game, you seem to be in good shape. You're gonna want to be around lvl 75-80 for the E4 according to what I've been told.

Thanks. I kinda noticed this when I evolved my magikarp.

I've been keeping my pokes unevolved till now mainly because they look cuter that way, but now I'm leaving them all unevolved till lvl 99 or longer

I went trough and finished whole Kanto with 3 Pokémon, so.

Not a single Eevee or evo... Sorry but your team is bad... ;)
