Idkup
Ah, you're referring to people taking themselves out with recoil to place (presumably a Clefable) in range. This definitely does have a minor impact on the way Calm Mind Clefable (and other defensive setup) must play - against strong recoil attacks, it is best to conserve it for a few turns. If your team has already chipped the recoil Pokemon down to the % where it can knock itself out, and Clefable would otherwise sweep, Clefable will still sweep, just a few turns later. Stealth Rock not going off is heavily impactful, but how often are Pokemon going to faint to Life Orb / recoil in the earlygame when it matters most? In Iron Barbs / Rough Skin's case, you chose to use those abilities knowing that they possess this weakness. Chansey should never be in on Weavile anyways. Thanks to MadFrost for the signature! Shyntil
Sometimes you won't have the choice of "preserving it" or "not staying in". There are crits, unexpected KOs, and a number of stuff that brings to different scenarios. You can't address it as a math formula that is always right. I don't want to warp my playstyle and choices to address a gamebreaking bug for any longer. And i don't want to keep seeing people abusing it. The skill of a player is inversely proportional to the number of confuse ray users he runs on his team. Idkup
You are warping your playstyle in any case. PRO's metagame is unique with the lack of megas, team preview, z-moves, landorus-therian, and all the things that make gen 7 gen 7. One small additional mechanical bug is no reason to ban the most fundamental offensive item in the game. Stall is a math formula if built correctly. You should have answers upon answers upon answers to the point where it doesn't matter if you get crit. It's a slow grind which will inexorably end with you winning the game, provided the opponent cannot stop you by breaking open your defenses and winning point. Thanks to MadFrost for the signature! Shyntil
Not having things implemented is pretty different from a bug on how the game is supposed to work mechanically. But i'm glad to see that you are fine with it. The skill of a player is inversely proportional to the number of confuse ray users he runs on his team. Idkup
I'd say the lack of Team Preview is a much greater mechanical bug than this one. Ban PvP until team preview is introduced. Shyntil
That's not a bug, just another thing that's not implemented, and it should. You keep missing the point. Idkup
It has the same effect as a bug. It warps the metagame more than a bug. Not implemented < Minor bug Thanks to MadFrost for the signature! Shyntil
Just now a Gengar has used Explosion (lul) on a Chansey wich was unable to recover, allowing a Latios to come in and sweep. This shit is so easily exploitable and people actively do it The skill of a player is inversely proportional to the number of confuse ray users he runs on his team. Idkup
It could have just used Taunt for the same effect... Thanks to MadFrost for the signature! Shyntil
A taunt would have forced a switch, Presenting a new Pokèmon to his Gengar or his own new switch. Quite different than losing your check to a threat by a bugabuse, isn't it? You are just being intellectually dishonest right now :) The skill of a player is inversely proportional to the number of confuse ray users he runs on his team.
