To be able to proceed into this quest, You will need to wake them up by interacting with them while having a Pokémon with the move Uproar or Wake-Up Slap in your party. Good day @Kiiroo Congratulations on finishing the story! Post-story content can consist of various activities such as dungeons, bossing, PvP, area unlocking, and much more. Dungeons Dungeons are meant to be played as multiplayer activities and involve clearing floors and rooms then defeating the dungeon boss. Some dungeons are immediately available (such as Forlorn Court in Lavender Town Graveyard) while others require quests to unlock (such as the Crux of Melody [aka Pinkan] which is locked behind the Pinkan Island Quests). Bossing Bossing is a form of repeatable content which require the player to defeat powerful trainers located throughout the regions. These bosses are on a 12-day cooldown (with a max of 20 per week) and can be a consistent way to earn money and other rewards. Be sure to check the requirements to unlock the boss of interest. A comprehensive list of bosses and their requirements can be found here. PvP PvP has two formats, Normal and Random. In Normal PvP, you design a team yourself and battle other players. In Random PvP, you and your opponent are randomly given a team of 6 Pokemon to battle against each other with. Both Normal and Random PvP have a daily win that awards a PvP Chest upon your first win. Be sure to review the PvP Rules before getting started in PvP. Area Unlocking There are many areas (e.g., Shamouti Island, Pinkan Island, Matsuki Island, and more) that remain to be unlocked after you finish the story. Most of these areas are key to catching Legendary Pokemon or unlocking post-story content. Aside from working on unlocks, you can also complete your daily and weekly content such as Bug Catching Contest in the National Park Stop house downstairs (north of Goldenrod City) or Excavation (20 hour cooldown). As the title says, it's about doing a run without capturing, trading, or buying a Pokémon from another player, and using only the Pokémon given to you during the run. The Magikarp from the salesman is allowed because it's not a trade or a player purchase. I've already made several attempts, it's been over a year and failed because there were too few gifted Pokémon plus the fact that it had IVs of euuuuh to put it bluntly, dog [heck]. I don't want to spend my time constantly creating accounts because of RNG, i just tried again and I didn't even reach the first arena before the run was already over. What ended this attempt was Growlithe Nature Relaxed, IV 01-11-08-03-25-15, obtained in Viridian Maze. This RNG on Nature and IV is just annoying because it makes this run attempt impossible. I would have preferred it to be like my starter, Docile Nature, IV 20-20-20-20-20-20, and it's not the fact that it's a Growlithe that ends the run, but its nature and IVs are RNG on a Pokémon that I only get once. I just spent another X hours leveling up Speed IVs on Route 1 (without buffs or items), and I was expecting to get those SPATK IVs up in Viridian Forest even though it would take a very long time. But the moment I got the Growlithe, its nature and IVs instantly ended the run. For those who say you can manage, well no, because IVs and natures can ruin everything, especially IVs on Pro, unlike on PokéMMO where it's not a problem. Plus, on my previous attempt over a year ago, I had so few Pokémon that I couldn't even consider doing the Pokémon League, not to mention their IVs and natures. Not to mention that I couldn't find any pro runs of this kind on YouTube, so the phrase "it's easy" or "I've already done it" is worthless if there's no proof to back it up it's just talk. But from what I see even after several years it's still not feasible, I can't be bothered to spend another x hours on a run that's doomed to be wasted or I can't do the league because of poke with nature iv RNG on gifter poke(abandon poke) especially when I only get it once. So, to put it simply, "When can I play without RNG ruining everything, without having to create 50 or 100 accounts just to do and finish one run?"
