From the community standpoint, this is really equivalent to : you queue for a random ranked battle in order to gain rating for you and your guild ==> there is no opponent ==> do a friendly instead (because that's what it is in the end). If we wanted to have a battle with 0 positive impact for our guild we wouldn't queue random ranked. That doesn't solve any issue, that doesn't answer the community needs. Instead it brings an additional issue... Our frustration grows with the fact we don't understand how something so logical and straight forward is not listened to.
