Basically the top 25PVP points have a very small differences so makes the prize too diff are BAD IDEA. But i agree 1st rank must have something more special. And the prize for top seasonal rank holder must be UNIQUE not something everyone can buy from PvP item seller, because everyone can have it even the most weak PvP user, all they need just the time.

This is an issue, its not about counter, outclassed or whatever you and other people mentioned. Its about the varieties and options in TEAM BUILD, decent / epic legendary = wider options in team build and not everyone have this option since they got very trash legendaries.

Can you name a famous MMO that put LUCK factor above EVERYTHING? when effort can't even beat the LUCK factor? And as i mentioned before decent & epic legendaries give the owner a better edge and a wider option in team building and its not fair AT ALL. It's different story if they gave legendaries with exact same IV to everyone.

So, why not make them re-catchable with certain requirements or make them tradeable instead?

Ya i get the idea, its not fair when someone have really epic legendary when other got a very useless one. Its not about how OP it is, or can be countered in PVP or whatever, just like TS stated in this comment People with decent or epic legendary have more option in team building than those who got very trashy legendary, which is very beneficial for in any sectors. Its clear that its not fair for others because doesn't matter how hard they tried they will never get a better legendary for the rest of their pokemon career. It's very different case with tradeable pokemon, you can always get better one by hunting or buy from anyone else. I think staff should give more attention for this issue.
