it actually gives you more incentive to keep your pokemon and not trade it because there are a lot of other things you can do with them meaning that more people will be interested in holding their high iv pokemon

-1 this is just a bad idea. Some of the pros you said arent even really pros like affect the economy. How? How will typings work if you fuse things with 2 types will it become 4. What about move and learnsets will they just change. This idea adds nothing positive for overall game balance. This idea defeats the whole point of farming because you can just fuse a high iv mon with a low iv mon and still make a broken mon.
