Is this a regular maintenance or are they releasing a new client again?

Saw a lv20 Murkrow in Lavander. Didn't bother catching it since I was using a Timid sync for Misdreavus anyway.

Yeah, they locked the server at least an hour ago so I just logged out. Still can't connect. How many hours do maintenance usually last?

Unfortunately removing the app from multitask and restarting seem to be the only way to make it work for me. If the the app is open when the screen sleeps, the app will malfunction. So now I just park my avatar, log-out, shut down the app, and do my thing. Have to finish encounters first or lose them tho.

It just surprised me the first time it happened. I just stood and reached out for something and when I woke my phone, character is frozen. It's just me though but only coz the GUI became unresponsive. I'm not even actually AFK yet and I can see the players still running around and the chat continuing as usual.

Any news if they'll allow it to keep phone awake in coming updates?

I found a Phantump in Vermillion Graveyard just now. First time I saw it in the tree so it must be the rarest in there since it require MS to be found in grass.

Looking to complete my collection. I need Adamant, Impish and Calm ATM but later would also like Mild, Gentle and Quiet. I don't have much money so I'd probably be OK with Natus if they are cheaper.

I was looking for something like this, thanks a lot! Anyone got an idea which syncs best to bring to each location? I usually bring Timid in Pewter for Misdreavus and Relaxed in Vermilion for Duskull. I just discovered Pumpkaboo earlier in Cerulean so I wasn't prepared. Apparently these Pokemon are common elsewhere but since I haven't left Kanto yet, I want to get my hands on them.

OK so I noticed something I haven't before, the app seem to be now affected by the phone's screen sleep timer. I remember in previous versions I can go downstairs and grab a snack and come back with the game still on and my character on AFK. Like when you have a video running on Youtube, the phone won't sleep. Now I just peeked out a window and found the screen off. My sleep timer is 30s. I also found that if I have the battle screen active, when I wake up the phone all the buttons become unresponsive (even the options button). The chat usually stays active for a bit longer, long enough to see the "you are now afk" message pop out though I can't chat. I haven't tried multiple test but when I just parked my character and waited for the phone to sleep then woke it up, it seemed to function normally. Guess I'll just have to change the timer setting whenever I play PRO. This is not as bad in previous versions where I automatically get logged out when I switch to a different app even for just a few seconds.

It went smoothly. I saw threads about people having problems but thankfully it installed properly.

Thank you for the quick response. Currently downloading the Android apk from Mediafire. Slower than last time (this one's saying 25m) but crossing my fingers it'll push through and will have no problem installing. :)

. Is this a recent update? I just found out I can't log-in and it's saying wrong version. I downloaded the spooky like just 2 days ago.

Guess I'd have to wait for a few days before I try to update.

I've been playing the game since around beginning of Sept and only recently I started having problems with the app. Whenever I switch to a different app I get logged out even if it was not long enough to go AFK. I don't even get logged out for going AFK with the app open and the time it takes me to glance at a diff app and back is usually shorter. Now, it's a minor annoyance but something I'm usually fine with except for one instance - when I open the browser to check the EV yields. This meant most of the time I get logged out WHILE I'm in a battle. Checking the browser to confirm the EV berries is fine since I'm idle when doing that anyway. I just thought it would be easier if the yield info is already in the Dex. If anyone's not familiar with a Pokemon they currently is in battle with, they can simply tap the map info in the right, then open the Dex entry from there.
