I kinda hope that I can at least get it by battling trainers. I just used Weedles to get regular poison when I used Granbull for Kanto E4 LOL. At least burns would be easier to put on once I get a Flame Orb. I'd try it on a Guts poke maybe.

Quick question, do we have a thread here that have the maps of Cerulean Cave? I've been searching but can't find it. I've been running around trying to get to the basement to fight Naero for the first time. I don't know if it's possible to get through without Rock Smash. I don't want to bring my Bibarel slave with me since I'd need my full team.

I used a Quick Feet Granbull in Kanto E4 and I had a hard time getting it to work. I still don't have a Toxic Orb and even if I do I prefer normal poisoning so it can equip Leftovers so I end up running around to get wild Pokes to poison it before running back to Victory Road. I was wondering if there was a better way. Never played PvP but I was wondering if statuses stay after the battle coz if yes maybe I can just ask people to fight unranked PvP. I like the idea of having poison or burn to trigger abilities while having leftovers to reduce the damage taken from the status. Would have been easier if we have double non-boss NPC battles.

OK. Installed the client on a Win10 64-bit PC and it's working here. I don't understand why it's not working in my Win7 laptop which is where I used to play it. :(

Hi, thanks for the response. AV is Avast. I've already added the exe to the exceptions. Don't need to add it to a Blocked/Allowed list since there isn't any to begin with in the free version. OS is Win7 Home Premium x64.

Well I only have a single laptop. Game's working fine on my phone though.

Basically when opening client it would go through Checking for Updates > Downloading Patch > Validating Game Files > Closing Client. So yeah, nothing happens. Sometimes UnityCrashHandler opens but otherwise, it's the same thing. Can't even get to the login screen. And yes, I already redownloaded the client just to be sure. Extracted it to My Documents and running it from there.

OK, so I manage to catch a Pokemon with a high enough total IV in the Bug Catching contest and Judge asked me to speak with him when I get out. did and it's saying that I'm still "inexperienced". So I checked the Genesect page in the forum and it seems I need 200 more hours. Got a few questions: #1 Do I immediately have to catch Genesect after the event is triggered or I can do it any time and continue joining Bug Catching even if I haven't got Genesect first? #2 Do I encounter Genesect in the same scenario like the Contest where I'd only have 1 Pokemon in the party? That's the impression I'm getting from the Genesect thread suggesting to bring a Mew.

So I was playing the bug contest yesterday and I was in an encounter when the timer ran out. No problem since usually after the encounter ends, I'd get teleported to the appraisal room anyway. Problem was I was trying the game on an older tablet instead of the phone I usually play it with. It crashed and as we know if we quit while in an encounter we respawn in the last center. There was no way for me to get back to the room. Talking to the guard and contest master in the park stop house do nothing. Next time this happens, is there anything I can do?

OK, I don't remember when it was added but I noticed that the Abra and Natu NPCs now offer to teleport the player across the route for a fee if one Pokemon knows Teleport. Any idea if the same can be done for Fly? Most people complain it's just useless. I haven't checked the Teleport coverage yet but being able to Fly to say, Cianwood from Olivine and Cinnabar from Vermillion would be nice since those locations aren't part of the subway system anyway.

What's the level of the boss's pokes? 100?

Maybe they'd eventually add a babysit trade option? Like, the Pokemon can gain level and gain/lose ev and happiness but NOT evolve. Not sure how the moveset should be handled.

OK so I started playing again today after maintenance and greeted with a DC immediately. After several attempts to log back in I managed to and found I can't post in the Help chat. I tried relogging several times, still the same thing. So far All is working, haven't tried the other ones like Trade. The thread title is the message I keep getting whenever I try to chat in Help.

OK I know that we are having a maintenance but would we need a new client after it? I won't install Discord on my phone since I'm saving space (and I'm not really playing any other game that requires me to). Is there a notification thread where we can check whenever a new client is uploaded? I believe there were times where my client got outdated but it's not telling in the error message so I just thought it was a problem with the server.

OK these past days we can't connect coz of something with the server host I believe. Since you are adamant of not giving server status here in the forum, I finally made a Discord account (or rather rediscover one I made, still not planning to install on my phone though). I saw a mod post about restarting the client so I assume that some were able to connect for a while. Did a new client come out while you were fixing the servers or would the client we were using just before the server move still work?

Yeah, some of them would be quite interesting. I remember a facility where you can't choose your Pokemon's moves, they use it on their own based on the nature and there's still some RNG involved. You can only switch them around.

Yikes that sucks! Can you still access the game? It seems like there's a maintenance. I hope they compensate you.

I haven't played (or installed the client) since the Halloween event ended. I'm trying to install the game now (for Android). Would just like to report that mirror#1 (mediafire) ain't working. I'm currently downloading gtrppa.apk from the second mirror and if seem to be slower than the last few times I downloaded the client.
