"Reduce the number of encounters required to find Extremely Rare Pokemon by 10-20%" I VOTE YES! I'd like to know how much of the community agrees, or disagrees, with me. I honestly can't push my self to play this game very often anymore, because of how much time is required to even have a chance at something. 2-4 hours without encountering a targeted species is not fun for anyone, and I believe it will eventually chase all players away until a change is made.\ I'll mention that I have nearly 900 hours game time and still don't have even half of a pvp team. And ALL I DO is hunt for pvp pokemon and currently H.A. Skrelp. caught 40 and none h.a.. It took so much time and energy that it left me traumatized and i'm afraid of this game now :(

While writing out a new comment about my opinion with the spawn system, the topic was locked. I then went to "suggestions" and made a topic called "I suggest reduction to number of encounters required to find Extremely Rare Pokemon.". I read some comments, then was told to post in "Spawn Revision", which is Locked. My topic was then locked. I'm just giving my opinion that I think it takes too many encounters to find "extremely rare" pokemon.

Straight to the point, I feel that hunting for pokemon in the "extremely rare" tier, is too time consuming. Hunting in the same spot for something you're desperately trying to find, for days and days, getting nowhere, is not fun in any way and there is no sense of progress. There was a time I enjoyed hunting in this game, only because it was new to me. Once I began to understand the true nature of the spawn system, it immediately started becoming dull. I know there may be those of you who will defend the current spawn rate, but I will defend all of the casual players who can't put all of their "free time eggs" in one basket. Sometimes, players play different games and switch from one, to the other. I think pro is currently asking too much time from players. That's just me, you're free to disagree. For now, I'm taking a break from PRO, and I will continue to read forums every few days to see if any changes are ever made. I think the pros outweigh the cons, when it comes to "Reducing the number of encounters required to find Pokemon in the 'Extremely Rare' Tier of Rarity". Even as a World of Warcraft Player going on 9 years, I think this game is pushing the limits of how far players will go to get what they want, just a tad. Hey! So I've been using the same wireless mouse that is too small for my hand for about 7 years. My nephew and niece once fought over it while playing a game and the cover for the AA battery broke off. Ever since then, for something like 1.5 years, I've been using super glue to keep the cover shut. When my battery dies, I have to pry the cover open and scratch off the old hardened super glue! I remove old battery and insert new one, shutting the cover and reapplying super glue. It's an annoying process haha. So a new mouse would be amazing, but if I don't win, I'll have to end up buying a new one sooner or later anyway. I've been hunting for a modest h.a. skrelp for about a month. have caught around 35 non h.a. but 0 h.a. wtb h.a. skrelp modest.

I'll keep trying, while losing my sanity.

I want someone to test to see if it's actually possible to find a Skrelp with Adaptability. It's been a month. I hunt nearly every day for 2+ hours. I know it's an mmo. I have 800 hours played. I don't appreciate always getting the same "It's an MMO" response when ever I voice my opinion, complain, or ask questions about Extremely Rare Pokemon. Me and several other players have a complaint about H.A. Skrelp and we're being ignored. We feel that the 1 in 20 h.a. chance is not in effect. To us, it seems like 1 in 100 for h.a. chance. I understand you all may be busy with things that are more important than helping a few players who have been chasing a carrot on a stick for a month. I just feel like I've been abandoned in the darkness. I'll go hunt Skrelp now for like the 200th time, all alone, for a few hours. I doubt i'll see any skrelp, let alone a H.A. One. Edit: Also I must add that I don't believe spending 40+ hours continuously spamming encounters catching 30 skrelp and seeing no H.A. is "easy". I work as hard as, if not harder than most players in PRO. I just seem to be one of the Unluckiest of the bunch when it comes to hunting. I'm positive that if I dedicated the next 150 hours of my free time to Strictly Hunting Skrelp, I'd catch less than 75 Skrelp and not ONE of them would even have H.A. We think something is wrong.

A few friends and I have been hunting for H.A. Skrelp for weeks. All together, we've caught something like 110 or more Skrelp. Out of all of them, not a single one had the Hidden Ability "Adaptability". It's always poison touch or poison point. I'm wondering if anyone has caught one recently. I've invested 40+ hours into hunting h.a. skrelp and haven't seen a single one. Should I give up? I don't know what to do. Am I wasting my time trying to find something that isn't available?

I found my problem. It turns out all i had to do was return to littleroot town and talk to prof. birch for him to say "oh i heard the space center's second floor opened up in mossdeep" and then the guard disappeared lol.

I completed the hoenn story and became champion. I checked both sky pillar and mossdeep space center multiple times and I am not able to return to moon. I was told to go battle rayquaza and he would give me the option to go to moon. I battled rayquaza and got the message "rayquaza flew off". I was told by another person to go to mossdeep space center. I went, but there is a guard in front of the doorway and he says "this area is off-limits". I really want to hunt for Gible, but I can't because of this. The people I talked to said they both have gone to moon after becoming champion. Am i bugged? I'm also confused about why one buddy says rayquaza while the other says mossdeep space center. Neither work for me, though. I don't know what to think or believe. Maybe i'll never get Gible... :Cry:

Everyone tells me that if you are Hoenn champion, you can get to Moon again by going to mossdeep space center. I go there and there is a security guard that says "This area is off-limits.". I am Hoenn Champion but I can't get to the moon where everyone tells me to. Any help with this would be appreciated. I want to hunt for Gible, but looks like it won't happen for a while because of this issue. One of my friends said it works for him in mossdeep. Another one of my friends said he is able to talk to rayquaza to get to moon from sky pillar. I'm sad now. I wonder if I'll ever get to return to moon?

I've encountered 10 shinies on blue server. First was Pidgey in kanto on day two of blue or something. The rest are johto and were Tentacool, Horsea, Arbok, Onix, Seadra, Quagsire, Spinarak, Wooper, and Goldeen. lol First was best and I actually use my shiny pidgeot in pvp. I think he is mild nature with 27 sp.atk iv. so I ev trained in sp.atk and speed and gave him Roost, Defog, Heat Wave, and Hurricane. lol

I personally am kind of hunting for shiny larvitar, cubone, or marowak on seven island - sevault canyon. during day it's just geodude, fearow, and onix. and those Sparse three. During morning, add in phanpy. During night, add in meowth. I like this because I get to hunt for three different adamant pokemon at same time. And yeah, the only possible shinies are meowth, phanpy, onix, geodude, fearow, then the three sparse ones. Larvitar, Cubone, Marowak. I want shiny larvitar or cubone/ marowak with adamant nature lol.

I think we should ask an admin first, but would you like me to prove it by battling you then logging out? I don't want to, because I know the server will crash. At least if in ranked queue. not sure about normal challenge. I don't want to try, because I don't want anyone to suffer from any crashes.

There is a serious issue related to my account. It started with wacky friends list but has now spread into me being able to cause a server crash, supposedly. I can confirm that blue server crashed immediately after the last three times I clicked "log out" during a ranked pvp match. The first two times were sometime in the last week, but the most recent one was about 15 minutes before i created this topic. Until i know this issue is resolved, I will not click "log out" during a pvp match, again. I apologize to anyone who suffered from the server crashes, as they were not intentional. But after it happening three times, I now know for sure that it's not simply coincidence. I believe my account should be investigated, if possible. I don't want to cause server crashes :Shocked:

I agree completely. If anything, I'd rather have reduced reward chances but cooldown cut in half. 1 week cooldown and slightly lower chance for good rewards doesn't sound bad.

yeah I see people log on who I can't see in my list. But even new players I add to my list don't show up in list, yet it tells me when they log on.

I should've reported this sooner. For about the last month, whenever i add players to my friends list, they will not be in friends list after I relog. Some say that they still see me in friends list. But I just don't see them for some reason. Also, occasionally I get friend requests from players who claim they did not send me a friend request. It's quite strange. I don't know what kind of bug i have, but I have even seen blue server crash at least 3 times immediately after relog. SO I am like "brb relog" i hit logout and login and then server goes offline. This is probably just a coincidence, but there is a chance that my character could have some error messing with the system, who knows. Just thought I should report these things. Anyway, thanks for an amazing game. I still dislike how low encounter rates can be, but other than that, I love this game. One of my favorite aspects is "secret" and "mysterious" things that not everyone knows about. The thing I don't like about games like World of Warcraft, is they allow so many people to play all the "private test realms" before expansions and patches are even released. So some players know about everything before it even gets added to the game, which is not fun.. I love that you go your own way and sneak things in for us to find. Don't stop doing it please. :P

Hello. So I have noticed that while in places like Cerulean Cave and some other locations, the world music is so quiet, that if you turn it up so you can hear it, then when you enter a battle, the battle music will be so loud that it blasts your ears. As it is, I have to choose to hear battle music and have cave music so quiet i can't hear it, or; if I decide I want to hear the cave music, then battle music makes my ears bleed. So I suggest one of two things. Either separate options for overworld music and battle music volume adjustment, or; simply increased music volume in cerulean cave. Thanks for reading. :P
