  1. Nope, sleep and paralysis give the same effect on the catch rate. Are you sure? In the official games, sleep and freeze give you a higher catch rate than paralysis, burn and poison.
  2. A guide has already been made in this link but you are free to make another one more noticeable.
  3. You only get the double of the money shown against trainers, not wild pokemon. On wild pokemon, the amount of money shown is already doubled.
  4. From what I know, you only get double money when you defeat trainers. Perhaps this has confused you? You also earn double money on wild pokemon. For instance, with ms, you can earn +500 pokedollars per battle inside cerulean cave, which is impossible without it. But this concept is more blatant on trainers indeed. You actually get double the amount of money shown on screen.
  5. Put your gif's (for an animated one) or image's (for a standard one) link between these tags Generally speaking, you can refer to this tutorial to add images to your posts. The process is the same for signatures.
  6. You need a lvl 80 rattata to battle youngster joey boss at the pokemon league and go to hoenn after defeating him.
  7. As i told you before it was deleted, a wall of shame isn't the right solution since it can lead to many abuses. Some petty players can just throw false accusations without proof and there is no way to have control over it. As you can see, the report center itself is strictly confidential so it's not a surprise that staff have decided to solely remove it.
  8. i think its bannable, if you can provide proof of him being a repeat offender. Well, so if you're right, i guess that only recidivists who have been reported multiple times will be eventually punished. I think we all get that lol
  9. Not bannable. Ok, so this matter should now be settled. If staff consider that dc isn't bannable, then no need to waste your time complaining, as much as it is frustrating to earn no coin.
  10. So basically, the guy just reported himself for using drain punch? Joke aside, can anyone confirm that ragequitters are punished when reported or is it a waste of time? Someone told me that staff don't consider it to be a bannable fault. Sadly, the topic was removed since the OP tried to create a "wall of shame" by publicly exposing some players name.
  11. I get your point and comprehend how frustrating it could be for you but do you realized that most players don't come here or don't even speak/understand english? So making a "wall of shame" or whatever is not the best solution. Not to mention that some petty players will surely abuse it to abase others without proofs. The best thing to do, as Liquidsnake wrote, is to simply report them. Take a sceenshot of them leaving and let staff deal with their punishment.
  12. Ragequitters are indeed annoying but you are not allowed to expose them since this can lead to many abuses. However, you can report them with evident proof such as screenshots or videos.
  13. Speed boost actually works. There is no text to show it but you gain +1 speed each turn.
  14. Use this formula to calculate your hidden power type. Just skip the power part since the base power is always 60 on generation 6. Or you can directly use a HP calculator like this one.
  15. You can find the tiers of PRO metagame here. It might be a little bit outdated but it's still correct to identify the main threats. Or, generally speaking, you will find everything you need on Smogon. Just be careful because Smogon's OU metagame is completely different from PRO (a lot of items, megas, legendaries, moves, abilities, pokemon, etc... are not implemented/coded on PRO).

    Double KO in PVP

Self-KO clause causes the user of recoil moves, perish song and destiny bond (selfdestruct, explosion, double edge, etc...) to actually lose the battle in case of a draw. Since you're the one who uses Explosion, it is normal that you lose the game.
  17. Do you have a gameplan, a core you build your team around or did you just slap 6 pokemon randomly? Btw, is your team built for PvE or PvP? If it's for the former, any team should do the job, just pick your favorite pokemon but for the latter, it's a bit different. I see a Tyranitar, is that supposed to be a sand team? With sandstorm, you need to build around it so let's say that your Tyranitar is the backbone of your team. As a good tank, it should also be your stealth rock setter. Sandstorm means you have to run an Excadrill with sand rush as its main sweeper, period. So replace Electivire with Excadrill as your physical attacker and you'll have your main core with these two. You will also need a water/grass check since they are annoying for any sand team. You can keep your Scizor as a bulky attacker one with swords dance and roost to check grass types and your Starmie for water type. Btw, Starmie is also a great asset to break through physical walls which give Excadrill, Scizor and Tyranitar trouble such as Skarmory, Hippowdon, Gliscor, Donphan and even Ferrothorn/Foretress if you can find a HP Fire Starmie. A defensive Venusaur can help countering rain team since Starmie alone will have a hard time switching on strong water type attack. You can keep it if you like it but Amoonguss is far better than Venusaur unless it has its mega form which isn't the case on PRO. Amoonguss has a more reliable sleep inducer move, better overall defenses, Clear Smog to prevent any dragon dancer/swords dancer from setting up and foremost Regenerator to keep it healthy. Its main purpose is to be a pivot and to switch on fighting, water and grass attacks aimed at Excadrill or Tyranitar. You will have a triple weakness to fire (Amoonguss, Scizor and Exca) but Tyranitar and Starmie will offset that. As for the last pokemon, it can be a filler of your choice. Yes, you can run your Togekiss since it's a great stallbreaker. With nasty plot and air slash, it also packs quite a punch and has an decent offensive presence while retaining good defensive capability.
  18. Well, you do have a point. The thing that bothers me a bit is the fact that the 25 top players earn so many coins when the 26th receive... nothing. The gap is just too important. Maybe a system with rewards based on percentage will be better. For example, something like : top 1% receive 500 coins, top 2% 400 coins, top 5% 200 coins, top 10% 80 coins and beyond nothing will be much fair.
  19. Bulbasaur : Modest with h.a if possible. Bold is also an option but without its mega form, Venusaur main niche is its offensive chlorophyll set. Staryu : Timid Togepi : Bold for defensive one, Timid for stallbreaker/offensive one, Modest is also acceptable. Electabuzz : Adamant for pure physical one, Mild for mixed one. Scyther : Adamant or Impish/Careful if you want to play it more defensively with defog and roost Larvitar : Jolly for dragon dance set, Adamant for bulky attacker set, Careful for a sp def tank or Relaxed for mixed one. An epic pokemon is a pokemon with high IVs, often +20 in all stats or at least +26 in the main stats. For instance for a Staraptor, a Starly with 26+ in attack and speed is an epic one. A pokemon doesn't need EV to be epic since you can easily ev train it yourself. There are many guides on forum but to resume quickly, 4 EV = 1 point increase to the stat at level 100 and a total of 252 EV can be put onto one stat on PRO.
  20. I guess those who hardtry 10 hours per day to get their mounts take that very seriously. And there is two types of quitters. Those who leave in the beginning/middle of a fight because they don't want to waste hours in one battle (for example, in an annoying battle with full of stalls) and those who ragequit when they are down to their last pokemon since they're so petty and want to deny you a coin. Personally, i can comprehend the former but the latter should be punished.
  21. How can you?? I'm confused. Edit: Ohhh you're right! It says a one liner something about the hot sun? You know,I never really read that text that goes by. I just kind of ignore it. But now that you mention it, had I been reading the text I could have saved 119 poke balls LOL. Actually, you don't even have to read the text. There is a small sun-icon on the top right of your battle screen which appears if sun is on the battlefield Same goes for rain and sandstorm btw
  22. Exactly I guess a wonder trade will be hard to code. And everyone knows how it'll end : greedy players will spam their rattatas, hoping to receive an epic pokemon in return. So... not a good idea after all
  23. Would you mind explain more? He surely refers to the wonder trade featured in Pokemon X/Y and ORAS which consists in randoms trades : you give away a pokemon and receive a random pokemon sent by an other player.
  24. Have you closed the client before relogging?
  25. Just relog and it should be fine
