  1. Re: PRO Viability Rankings (PVP) v0.95.7 <r><QUOTE author="Shiio"><s> </e></QUOTE> Dragonite has, on paper, everything to beat nearly every pokemon of this metagame. However, as you said, it clearly suffers from 4MSS so it cannot run everything. I see 3 majors sets for it : the obvious dragon dance set, the mixed rain attacker and the special/mixed lure set. On the DD set, let's say that Dragon dance and Dragon claw for stab are mandatory. So it must use T-Punch to have a small chance to break through threats such as Skarmory, Azumarill or Slowbro and it clearly lose to Hippowdon/Gliscor without Aqua tail. But it has also to find room for Superpower to beat Ferrothorn/Tyranitar, Roost for recovery, Iron head for fairies or E-Speed for priority. So depending of the set it is running, there will always be some defensive benemoth it cannot defeat alone, not to mention it is heavily crippled by every form of statut and stealth rock which break multiscale.<br/> <br/> The mixed set with Flamethrower/Icebeam is indeed powerful and good at luring its common checks (not the rain one, everyone will expect Thunder/Hurricane once rain is set up) but lacks speed so Dragonite will be easily forced out by everything faster once Multiscale is broken. So I think A+ is good for him atm (it may be the best A+). With Life orb eventually implemented, it will raise to S with more firepower under its belt</r>
  2. With Surf, Ice beam and EQ, you can easily solo hoenn gyms with your Swampert. Just be careful because

    bans

You can of course make an appeal but i don't think your excuse will be acceptable. To quote the fourth rule in discipline appeals subforum : "Appeals which state that a third party caused the ban will be denied instantly."

    Ban curse?

Curse Snorlax has always been a cornerstone of pokemon strategy since GSC and it has never been suspected as overpowered, even in the GSC metagame where it used to be the best pokemon, not to mention it has clearly declined since gen 5. There are many pokemon in the PRO metagame which can deal with it. Phazers like Skarmory, Hippowdon or Milotic, fighting types such as Machamp, Breloom or Lucario, stallbreaker users with taunt like Gliscor, Mew or Talonflame, etc... Yes, Curselax is strong but definitely not OP to be banned
  5. Yea I agree with you here. There's a lot more that I could suggest but it seems like PvP isn't the focus :( I'd even be willing to help make tier lists for the game etc. But meh, nice points though. :) Although i do agree that these suggestions can improve the PvP system, we must keep in mind that PRO isn't a battle simulator (and is not supposed to become one) like Showdown or Shoddybattle/PO/Netbattle used to be. So i don't think there will be any chat keeping track of a battle (yes, it may be annoying not to remember how many calm mind/dragon dance/whatever boosts are in play but even in the official 3DS games, we cannot keep track of our battles, it's only exclusive to battle simulators). However, a team preview should indeed be implemented for all the reasons above
  6. I don't think there is any error. Have you check the chamber located north of Chamber R1 in your second image? There should be a stone which will react to the rock the aqua grunt gave you after defeating the magma leader. You'll stop the eruption and you'll be able to go inside Kalijodo cave to retrieve your reward from the aqua leader
  7. Speak to the mayor first (he'll reward you with a hat and some money) and you'll be able to take Rick's challenges and battle the two bosses
  8. You can even use all 4 entry hazards (stealth rock, spikes, toxic spikes and sticky web) if you wish
  9. Imo, legendaries (Mew, Celebi and Jirachi) are actually the rewards for completing the pokedex
  10. Yep, oval stone has been coded a couple of weeks ago, maybe less. My bad, didn't know oval stone is now working. If so, Happiny is now subject to evolve, that's great news
  11. Happiny -> Chansey is not coded since Oval stone doesn't work
  12. Here's the map Or you could use an escape rope, it will teleport you back at the last pokecenter visited
  13. You have to complete the team aqua/magma quest (they'll give you some summer clothes or aqua/magma outfit) and talk to the mayor (he'll reward you with a hat and some money) before battling the two bosses
  14. Thanks for the trade and gl for your shop!
  15. Re: Ingame BOSS [updated Rewards] <r><QUOTE author="NamelessHero27"><s> </e></QUOTE> Use a Gyarados/Dragonite and dragon dance at the face of their Volcarona and swept them. Or any rain team will do the job since they are using fire types.<br/> <QUOTE author="shay3100"><s> </e></QUOTE> To sum up quickly : <br/> - You have to complete the aqua/magma quest first (i personnaly choose to help team aqua since it's faster)<br/> - You'll receive some Summer clothes form the leader after helping them<br/> - You have to go back and talk to the mayor. He'll reward you with a hat (i've got a Politoed hat) and some money.<br/> - Now you can fight the two bosses as well as taking Rick's challenges<br/> - Rin, located at the beginning of the island, has a team of Volcarona, M-Charizard-X, Moltres, Infernape, Magnezone and Volcanion<br/> - Lime, located at the left of Kalijodo Cave, has a team of Volcarona, M-Charizard-Y (it doesn't have Drought), Entei, Blaziken, Magnezone and Reshiram<br/> - They will give you a Wailmer mount after beating the two of them</r>

  17. Re: Ingame BOSS [updated Rewards] <r><QUOTE author="McWinSauce"><s> </e></QUOTE> Thanks for the informations! So if i get it right, one boss gives you a Wailmer mount and the other gives you some Summer clothes? Or do you have to defeat the two bosses for only one of these rewards?</r>
  18. Have you blackout/lost a battle against NPC/wild pokemon? If so, you always lose 5% of your current money (which equals to approximately 300k for 6M) so it may be just that
  19. I assume you keep pvping though and complete when its done? I suppose so. I'm not the one who has faced this problem but a guy complained earlier about him being teleported in a middle of a pvp fight
  20. Yes it may teleport you even in a middle of a pvp battle
