Have you tried testing Compatibility Mode for both Windows 7 and 8? I looked around for threads where other users had similar problems as you - is this case similar to yours? If so, the user who posted there said they found a solution by re-extracting the files, so you could try to see if that works.

The way Leftovers works is that it will heal 1/16 of your Pokemon's max HP for each turn that your Pokemon isn't at full health. So if a Pikachu attacks your Snorlax, Leftovers will heal Snorlax for 1/16 of its max HP and will continue to do this in battle until Snorlax regains all its HP (or faints).

Hi, you're experiencing what's called the "ghost queue." When your game says "Logging in..." but nothing happens afterwards, it means you've connected into the queue successfully, but the queue window is just failing to show up properly. You can simply wait it out, as you're in queue like normal and will be logged into the game after the queue has passed. You can also keep relaunching the client in order to get the queue window to show up (this may take a few tries). Either method should work for you.

Hi, the game is currently experiencing of surge of new players due to some popular streamers/Youtubers recently streaming PRO. I find that around 7-9 AM GMT is when the queue seems to settle down the most, so you can try to play around then. If you still aren't loading into the game after your queue time has passed, it may be due to a problem with your Internet connection. Keep trying to log in, eventually your game should load. If you're having trouble with a freezing client, you may need to close the game completely and relaunch it - try reading this guide on game crashes.

I have been wanting to play so bad but I just can never get in when I finish work. It would make more sense to create another server with the amount of player base. Read this thread on the subject of more servers. Yes, there has been a surge in new players recently thanks to all the streamers/Youtubers covering the game, but this has happened in the past too. Queue times get long for a few weeks after someone popular streams PRO, then they slowly taper back down after all the newbies who have flocked to the game end up quitting. Opening a third server would be premature when the game population is constantly fluctuating - what happens to the new server when all the new players are gone? It's inefficient and a bad use of money, even assuming the developers can actually afford to purchase/maintain a third server. My advice to you is to stick it out. Queue was minimal just one or two weeks ago; wait a few weeks for the game population to stabilize again. We just need to be patient.

You are in a "ghost queue" - you've connected to the game and are waiting in queue, but the queue window isn't appearing properly. You can wait it out, as it will connect you normally anyway. You can also relaunch the game a few times so that the queue window shows up correctly. New servers have been suggested many times already, please read this thread on the subject of new/better servers being added.

Abandoned Desert Village is part of the Johto MS-only area, I believe. Talk to the sailor at the south end of Olivine City, he'll bring you to Dock Island. You should be able to explore and find it from there.

Heracross isn't at Route 7. It is a membership Pokemon at the Route 33 grass in Johto, hoewver. You can also get Heracross from headbutting at certain routes (here's the headbutt spawn guide).

Welcome to the game. If you're having to re-queue after your original queue ends, it means your Internet connection may be lagging out. Keep trying, it should let you in eventually.

Sometimes when I log in my chat channels are glitched and don't show the chat text, this is fixed with a relog though. As for the other problem you've pointed out, could you elaborate more? A screenshot would help. I would suggest trying to restart client as a fix for that too, if you haven't already.

Make sure to check the receptors on every floor. Here's a thread with some of the receptor locations. Also check your PC, if you had a full party at the time it may be lurking in there.

I reread the thread again - I believe I've misinterpreted what you were asking, apologies for that. I searched through forums for similar cases and found some threads where other users had similar issues (here and here). In both cases it seems the users had to wait for GMs or admins to step in and assist with the email/account issues. Please be patient and wait for them to look into your issue.

You don't need to have received the email verification to post on PRO forums, so that's not related. As you said, the account activation system may need to be further investigated so that more email providers can receive confirmation links in the future. However, for the time being, your only solution is to recreate another account using one of the suggested email providers - Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail - if you're not receiving the email verification and want to play PRO. It's very quick and easy to make a Gmail account, and you can stop using Gmail after you've received the email verification. Try doing that.

You can obtain fossil Pokemon through various methods. As the previous poster pointed out, there's a chance to unearth them at certain dig spots (here's the dig spot guide). You also have a chance to get fossils from the Brock boss NPC after beating him (here's the boss fight guide).

Check this guide on email issues. I recommend using email providers like Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo - those are known to receive confirmation emails, whereas the one you listed may not receive one.

Actually in the new Valley of Steel houses, there is a strange incident where you go into one of the houses and the NPC inside decides to run away from the house / give it to you because it's haunted, if I recall correctly. It doesn't seem like you can do much with the house afterwards, but that sort of counts as something, I guess? :Grin:

Adding onto what Sharlank has said, staff has confirmed more legendaries will be catchable in the future - but only those with base stats 600 or under. So Mewtwo, with its base stat total of 680, will always be off limits. However, we don't have an ETA on when we'll get more quests to catch legendaries, so just be patient for now :)

ya I did all that... In cmd it seems to get stuck on "Importing game controller configs" also im running this on ubuntu 12.04 In the thread I linked, another user commented about having a similar problem. Try out the solution suggested in the post below it. If you're having further issues, you can always reply to that thread with a description of your problem - there are many Linux PRO users there who I'm sure would be willing to help you troubleshoot.

You evolve Happiny by leveling it with an Oval Stone during the day; however, Oval Stone is not currently coded properly and so Happiny can't yet evolve. Love Island is being worked on and is temporarily unavailable as such.
