Parting from staff, but not a goodbye!
Nightjay replied to Piine's topic in Player Introduction and Partings
Congratulations on graduating and snagging a job! I wish you the best of luck. :D Thanks for everything you've done as a staff member - hopefully we'll still see you around in game sometime! -
Here's a step-by-step guide on what you need to do to install PRO on Android. From the looks of it, it's recommended to first download the APK archive off the PRO Downloads page on your PC, and then transfer that over to your Android. Rest assured, I highly doubt the Mediafire link will have a virus. I hope this helps! :y:

on what you need to do at the Sevii Islands. You need to have beaten the Kanto Elite 4 and have membership active to reach the Islands from the Vermilion City docks.

staff guides The benefit of Membership + Useful items in Shop
Nightjay replied to Shamac's topic in Outdated Guides
Re: The benefit of Membership <r>Thanks for the guide, Windy! :D There's also the Pokemon Underground membership-only area at the basement section of the Pokemon Tower in Lavender Town. The maze is pretty difficult to navigate so I always have to refer to <URL url="https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3104"><s></s>these directions<e></e></URL> when going, lol. <E></E></r> -
Jirachi Quest Full Demo. (Part 1+2) [All Locations found!]

Re: Jirachi Quest Full Demo. (Part 1+2) <r>Thanks for the guide, Carl! <E>:y:</E> <E></E> Quick question, I noticed in your video you used Super Fang to lower Jirachi's health - any reason why you'd use that over False Swipe?</r> -
I agree with the poster above - there tend to be more shiny Zubats than other shinies, so it can be difficult to sell. You'll have to be patient if you're trying to sell this one. When I do see shiny Zubats being purchased, it's usually from around 15-25k.

Welcome to the game! Crobat was one of my staples for my Kanto story team. :y:

To be fair: Elekid wasn't catchable in the wild in Generations 2 or 3 either, though. In fact, it wasn't until Generation 4 that you could catch wild Elekids, so I wouldn't be surprised if we might have to wait till Sinnoh's released to farm Elekids in the wild. Although I wouldn't mind potentially having an NPC trade for Elekid, like the NPC trade in Celadon City for Magby.

Scott was an NPC in Pokemon Emerald who was specifically scouting talented trainers to invite to the Battle Frontier. I don't think it makes sense to replace the Hoenn Traveler with Scott unless a Battle Frontier ends up being implemented. (To be fair, adding a Battle Frontier to the game might be an interesting suggestion to think about, though I'm not sure how much we'd need it considering the multiplayer aspect part of PRO.) Also, I think keeping the Hoenn Traveler's name "Hoenn Traveler" is pretty important, since otherwise it's difficult to figure out who you need to speak with in order to access Hoenn. In my opinion the game should be scripted so that story progression is easy for players properly reading the NPC dialogue, observing NPC titles, etc - and I think the current "Hoenn Traveler" scripting does a good job of that.

What are you using to extract the files? WinRAR is known to be a bit temperamental with unzipping PRO files, so if you're using that you can try extracting with 7-Zip instead.

You need HM08 Dive first. You can get Dive from the Mossdeep Space Center (big green building on the right side of Mossdeep) after talking to Steven. You should be able to proceed afterwards.
-
It sounds like you were rolled back - there's nothing that can be done to recover lost data, unfortunately. You'll probably have to go back to the tutor and learn the move again. To prevent future rollbacks, I suggest logging out after you do anything you want the game to save/preserve immediately, like when you catch something rare, evolve a Pokemon, etc.
-
For these kinds of evolutions (e.g. Ancientpower Mamoswine, Double Hit Ambipom, etc), you need to use the move once in battle. Try getting into a random wild battle and using Rollout - you should get an evolution popup screen afterwards.
-
This is a pretty cool idea. But I was thinking it might make more sense to put a Hidden Power calculator NPC near the total-IV calculator NPC in Celadon, since they're both kinda linked in terms of IVs. Having a way to figure out HP type in game would be a nice feature though!

The Sootopolis dive spot is on the southeast part of Route 126 - it's near some rocks and Swimmer Denzel. showing how to get there (as well as what to do for the other parts of the story that follow).
-
Yup, it's one time use only! Although I believe you can buy another one.

Hi! Here's a helpful guide on the Celadon Team Rocket quest. As per the guide's recommendations, you should try to level your Poliwag up to around 40 or so - it should be able to take on Giovanni's Ground-type team after that. You could also get your Sandslash up to 33, when it'll learn Dig, since that move will be super-effective against almost all of Giovanni's team except for the Persian. If you're having trouble leveling Poliwag up, my advice is to keep it unevolved (you'll start getting notifications for a Poliwhirl evolution starting from level 25 and on, but keep clicking "No") while you train it up. If you've already beaten all the Team Rocket grunts, you can train at the grass on Routes 7 and 8. Reaching level 40+ should be quick enough from there. Best of luck!

Hi, welcome to the game! I hope you enjoy your experience.

You can also trade a Magmar for an NPC's Magby at Celadon Mall, if you have one of those.
-
Hi, you need to bring Security Officer Eric a Fresh Water to unlock the Sleep Powder option. You can purchase Fresh Water from the rooftop of Goldenrod Mall. Once you have the Fresh Water and the Sleep Powder Pokemon on your team, you should select the second dialogue option ("Here you go; take this Fresh Water") - that will trigger the rest of the event. You can watch for further guidance. I hope that helps!

Hey there, hope you enjoy your game experience! Also - not to spoil anything, but if you play far enough into the story, you'll definitely find at least one shiny.
