  1. Old player returning to check out the game. Used to play on the blue server, told me log into the dashboard wich I did but it keeps telling me my username/password is wrong wich its not since I logg in just fine into the forum or dashboard I did do a password reset before I tried playing again so maybe it takes a while before the change is made on the game server?
  2. Of course I do and those are not the people I mean, I am not complaining about adding 10-20% to the price to make some profit, no I am talking about the people buying dozens of items and doubling or even tripling the price out of no where. I understand and respect that, however you have no place in this thread then since as you mentioned you never actually even sold a MS or another item to another member caring more about your meager five bucks and the profit it brings to you then actually caring about the fact you are making a donation and support the server. Hilarious.
  3. That way, donating would be less rewarding, and even more voluntary than it is today. Unfortunately, the donations would most likely decrease this way, as a result of far too many people having a tendency of being selfish over all else. Indeed, this would wreck the donating system all together and you will end up with a very select few donating.
  4. If my Membership Medallions sell for more pokedollars, it will only encourage me to donate for MORE, not less. Also, do not forget that the amount of pokedollars flowing in the system only INCREASES by every day that passes. In other words, players become wealthier, gradually being able to pay/offer more pokedollars for the aforementioned item(s), not poorer. I certainly hope that you do comprehend the existence of the insane amount of players who make their living off "merching"/finding items being sold at a rewardingly low price, only to sell them for a few thousand pokedollars higher, whereas simultaneously, there are players who don't mind paying a bit extra for an item that they deem neccessary for their keeping/personal usage. I respect that, you bought it and its yours to sell it for whatever price you want, I dont think I ever commented on that did I? Only at the people merely buying and reselling, doing it purely for profit. When it comes to the MS I agree that it always has been rather cheap, and why I have no problem paying 200k now. My biggest concern is if this trend continues and the price go's crazy. I see less newer people using a MS, and as the price of the shop items increases it will be harder for them to get one. Now I can hear you already say that is their loss and I suppose so. However my fear is that with out the shop items some of them may get burned out by the cruel slow progress. It is if the game has a small community, and the buyers/sellers are few in numbers. Games like WoW, EQ, EvE etc I completely agree. I understand a lot of people want to be part of the Rochchilds family but can't in real life so they take out on a video game. Whatever, I will continue to play and enjoy this game even when you tards completely broke the market. Just do not come whining on the forum when the game is dying out because the market has become completely inflated and no new player can properly enjoy the start of the game because he or she can no longer afford anything I have seen it happen in a lot of small games, and PRO wont be a exception.
  5. I will try and explain it as simple as possible one more time. Take my self for a example. I am a fequent MS/xp boost user. But because I am unable to buy them directly from the shop as I lack a paypall account I am depended on the trade channel and other players. Normally it would cost me 120-130k for a MS and around 30k for xp boost. Now its 200+ for a MS and around 50-60 for the boost. That is almost dubble in price. Normally you would explain that by supply and demand, a lot of people wanting one is a higher price. And as the need for it would drop so would the price. However as we all know due to the lack of a android installer, unstable servers and the delay of Hoen the servers arent nearly as busy as they ones were and less people are playing. So how come prices have almost dubbled then? Well if you would actually use the trade channel and payed attention in there you would of known that there are a serten group of players buying in said items only to resell them at a higher price. These are players that put a lot of hours into this game and are hard to compete with financially so its easy for them taking items at a slightly higher price and sell it for dubble the cost. For me that means I would not buy xp boosts any more as i am a casual player and while i can easely make 200k a month. 60k for 3 days is just to much so as a result i would stop buying them, thus decreasing one being needed from the shop, thus one lesser donation needed. Now luckely there some nice sellers out there still that do not join in with this bullshit and contiue to sell it to me for the normal cost. However I am sure not all players are that lucky and as a result they simply wont buy a MS, xp boost or coins. Shop sellers buy x amount of stuff and hope to sell that for ingame dollars if that becomes harder because less and less items are bought because of the increased prices they will stop donating as they will look for other means of a income. I cant explain it any clearer then this about how player driven inflation for ingame shop items is a bad thing.
  6. Except that is not what is going on right now, if you payed attention to the trade channel you would see that. People are trying to make profit of buying and reselling store items. If you have never noticed that i suggest you pay better attention towards the trade channel. Biggest problem is that people are selfish and only care about there own enjoyment and gameplay and they could give two shits what a broken economy can do with online games.
  7. First of, thanks for taking the time of looking into the dig spots and giving us a update. My only complaint is the location of the new spots on route 3, it looks a bit weird and does not really make sense to have a hole like that in the middle of the road. Would it not look nicer to have it on the sides of the mountain? You can already walk on it, theres just nothing there right now so some dig spots would look ok, and imo might even look better then the current spot of the new dig holes.
  8. Players fault for rushing and not enjoying the game. I am 200h in and about to head into Jotho, got 232 pokes, 267 seen and 114 evolved. I see so many players rushing trough everything, buying level 100 pokes to cheese everything and then whine about the fact they are bored with little content to clear. Hi-la-ri-ous
  9. isnt one of the problems also the lack of players that supply the ms? :P lately there is never a queue unlike before where u waited hour to log in. many ppl are leaving or waiting for hoenn and ppl who donate are less and less active. thats why ms went from 130k to 220k...the stable players left while the new ones are comming theres a slight difference selling good useable pokemon for price that u evaluate it with, and then theres the trash pokemon called "epic" that ppl try to sell for 1mil, while its not worth 200 for the pokeball (while knowing it) and spaming trade chat with it for week, while making the real trade offers go up and up in chat windows till others cant see em ._. No, it has nothing to do with fewer people playing. I added a few people who sell shop items on a regular base and while they will sell it to me for a normal price in public they refuse now because they are to worried about people simply reselling the items, costing them revenue. Just look at trade, there are plenty of people looking to buy them but the problem is the higher resellers.
  10. It's just supply and demand, if no one will pay the prices, they'll have to lower them. I don't see how it can affect donations though ? The coin cost stays the same Because of the higher price less people will be interested in buying MS, meaning less MS being sold. MS are bought because someone donated. If the requests for MS drop, so will the donations as people wont be able to sell them as much. It can break the market. Supply and demand aint got nothing to do with it as I can list several players that I know who have a habit of buying cheap and selling high, even using fake bids to make it look people are interested in it. If you are a experianced player you may not be tricked by these shenanigans but new players are easily exploited by it.
  11. I think with regular items and Pokemon it is not needed but when it comes to items from the shop such as MS and other items it is a good idea. The reason I say this is because I have noticed a increasing trend where players are buying MS cheap, only to sell it for 2-3 times it price just inflating the cost. In my opinion this is a very bad trend when it comes to shop items as it makes them unnecessarily expensive and less people will be buying said shop items which will hurt in donations eventually. At first a ms was 120-130k now thanks to re sellers, you can look at 200-300k. If the developers were smart they would put a fixed price on shop items or they will have a great chance to loose donations in the end because more and more people will be unable to afford a MS or another item as they require a greater amount of pokedollar farming.
  12. Being all equal is boring. I am not sure what the story is behind his Suicune but I am sure he had to go trough a bit of effort getting it, be it a gm event or winning some tourny. Its not like a admin went, here have a legendary no one has. As for for; There are moves and abilities that make roar, teleport etc useless. I get that you maybe be jealous about the fact someone has a legendary that you can not catch but it makes for a much better game. This way they can use legendary Pokemon as rewards. Again I get you just want to catch all the Pokemon like in the standard Nintendo games but you need to realize this ain't such a game nor will it ever be.
  13. Ever since I make sure to open my bag every x encounter I never experienced a freeze since, and I never had so many items as I had now so I really doubt it. But hey, beta videos games, so who knows :Ambivalent:
