they still will be, u get given coins to spend on what u want. Those prizes are set to increase and prices will change too. I get where you're coming from. Even if it takes months, if a person who never gets beyond 100 rating can grind for how ever long it take to eventually get one of those cloaks that have already been awarded, how does that make them special? U guys dont even know how the new Reward-systems gonna work. Main part of what im missing is how to earn coins and how many u get for it. So any complainers have some hidden knowledge i dont have?^^ If Thor says they still will be special, then they still will be special. What u guys want is a "special unique price" what just the top 25 players can get. I dont mind that. But also i dont mind if a person grinds for 5 months through pvp to earn his/her special price. I understand that too. And i feel like this might be the majority of players. And if they feel they really can get smth more out of pvp than getting stalled out for battle after battle to lose or to lose for whatever reasons, this might encourage more player to fill the pvp-queue. Even if it takes longer for them than for better players. Then there are many other players who might not have the time to play that much pvp to get into top 25, even if they are that good. So here is their chance to get smth out of it if they going into ranked. But hey, im just assuming, i dont know how the system is gonna work.^^ I dont know how the clothes really look like of previous seasons, they could do other colors than this? I understand that. Nevertheless i might like the changes a lot if its for the good of the pvp-environment at all, even if some prices arent that special anymore as they used to be. Ima wait until i know how it really works before i give a feedback about it. But for me it seems to be pretty promising. Just my 2Cents. :Grin:

I would personally like this "u cant do pvp cause on of your pokes has banned move/ability" feature. But i leave it up to staff if its easier for them to go through reports and solve the issue or if its easier to implement such a feature. Sounds good! What im not sure about is to put pokes into different tiers here in PRO. Cause if u have different tiers u might never find a match with a cap of 1,8k players at peak times, where server is full. And there arent always 1,8k players online. So one player in Uber, one in OU, one in UU and one in PU searching for a match but cant find opponent. xd Might be a bit contra-productive. But i dont know numbers of willing ppl to pvp at same time and the matchmaking behind it. So just staff knows if its a good idea or not. If they implement it i hope i dont have to click the find battle button every 15 secs for 15mins. xdxd

This change has been live for a few days now I would like to give some feedback / ask if others have the same feeling: -Before the rework, it wasn't rare that I would get 2 or 3 "rare" ( over 1k2 disco ) encounters per site, and every 3 sites or so I would get a 3k+ encounter average. -Using today's run as an example, I had got 1 tarpinch 2 misdreavus 1 sawk 1 troh 1 smoochumnm, all the rest was comon stuff or items. In Ferral site I only had Houndour and items. Now this is not to whine about it or anything and I know it's only been a few days and there could be variance, but it really feels like encounters are significantly worse for me since the rework. I also talked to a few people who had the same feeling. I'm on yellow with 2k6 discoveries currently, could it possible that the new system takes into account discoveries and gives less pokemon that could flee ? Or are the encounters rate just worse for everyone ? yeah i would like to pay 5k and have more rare encounters, prob thats the reason. xd Main prob i see is u just get helix fossils. Fossil spawn is totally bugged atm.

Yeah i have to agree, lvl up a poke to lvl 100 is going pretty fast. Even ev-train u can pretty fast if u have macho brace and know the right spots. And there are great places like cc or mt silver or even dd where u can level up fast. Its MMO-Pokegame, grinding is part of it. If u want quick pvp-battles go showdown as former post already said. Here is where u catch your poke (most-time consuming part), ev-train your poke and lvl up your poke and love all your own pokes. <3 Or u farm money and buy what u need. xd Have fun, Sir! :Heart:

This game is still in development and its evolving with time. Most things gonne be added in future, just be patient and have fun with the stuff which is already working. :Heart: When exactly which move/ability etc gonna work, no one can say. Some stuff like compound eyes out of battle or breeding will never be like in the original games cause this is a MMO Environment. Have fun! :Heart:

If u have 5th badge already go roof of celadon big market and buy lemonade. Give lemonade to any of the guards at the 4 entrances to saffron and u can get in to the city to go on with story. Bike is just luxus, u dont need it to proceed with story. Have fun! :Heart:

There are no specific ones. If u are new to PvP i suggest u start with a balanced team and get some experience out in the fields. This means 1x physical sweeper (your gyara), 1x spatk sweeper, 1x phys. wall (your miltank), 1x spdef wall. For the last 2 slots u might add a spinner and another wall or sweeper, what u like and u think u need for your team. Well at least dont go all water pokes or smth. xd U need to look for a defensive coverage and u need to take care that 5 of your 6 pokes arent weak to one type. Same for offensive coverage or u get walled by this kinda stall-meta in pro. xd Tbh, both can work. xd In pro u dont see enemy team before the match so u cant decide whats best start like in showdown or wifi-battles. Most pvp-items like choice/items/orbs arent working. Same goes for expert belt. So leftovers defintly on miltank. Even on gyara leftis arent bad atm, but u can use smth like mystic water to boost a specific attack for him like aqua tail. No worries u dont lose money, neither u lose happiness.:) Nth to worry about! Just find a match and gain some experience. :) Atm PvP-clothes for each of the Top25 in ranked-ladder at the end of season. But they are working on a revamp of the pvp-system/rewarding-system, maybe already happens next season. Im for sure not the most experienced but maybe the only one who gonna answer u. xd Yw.

I think they are working at some items/moves for battling atm. I assuming this according to some comments by staff. And cause thats not completly finished they wont restart pvp season until it is finished and implemented.
