Thats true most NPC Trainers Reset after 7 days. Gym-leaders or any special fights like with Jackson/Red etc cant be re-battled. Cooldown for most of the bosses is 14 days. Have fun.

Luck is an abstract notion and statistics make it disapear: count every scald you see in the game (if the user hasn't serene grace ability and if the foe can be hit and burned), count also every burn caused by scald, and after let's say 20 scald you will know if it really is 30% burning rate or not. Did you know that humans tend to notice more random bad events than random good events ? Which makes them think they have "bad luck". nah.. i have focused on scald for many days.. not a random case i just think it's burning rate is not like only 30% it's more like at least 50% or higher I agree totally with Inspir. If u are unsure, check it out! Dont ask coders to check smth if u have a bad feeling about it. Just numbers work here my friend. ;) So get that scald running and make ya notes. The one point i disagree is that 20 attempts are enough. Thats by far not enough. After 100-200 scalds u have a representable number, which still can differ from the 30%, but shouldnt be to much. Have fun testing it, im really excited to hear the result!

Wtf, i never had that bug. O_o

I just was wondering why it got 1hko by an electric attack, cause its typing says ground. It actually is just water so its working properly ingame as it should. But u should remove the ground type of his first evo. ;)

I'd like the game to be hard but the grind is way too much.

Thx for your feedback! Hmm but i have to disagree with u in a few points, letz see: So as a experienced pro-player i can tell u after reading your post. U might have chosen the wrong spots to train your pokes for elite 4. Seafoam bf4 is the very best as long as u are in kanto and if your pokes are weak to that water types u go cinnabar. Dont train vs geodudes, sturdy is a b****. :) Later on before johto e4 u get access to DragonsDen and Mt silver, which are the very best places to train until u get access to cerulean cave which needs a few requirements, so thats not so fast to get but possible achievment. And trust me, dd does the job too quite well if u want 100s. Rattata was lvl 100 at begin to prevent ppl from mass entering hoenn.^^ Its reduced to lvl 80 now and it takes 1 1/2-2h to get it from catching lvl 33 to 80. No Problem. No one forces u to go through story with this. U dont need, and if u cant accept to lvl up a poke for 1 1/2-2h, well u got my point, right? ^^ So there are a few sidequest, areas for MS and some where u dont need ms. Most areas just need MS (which u can buy, u dont need to grind the money for it). Let me think, its Love Island and Cerulean cave which are areas which need Dex/Evo requirements, so just 2 areas. And tbh u play Pokemon, hunting pokes and completing dex data is a big part of it. Other than that, steel valley, poke tower underground, rachel quest, rock smash, digging, headbutting, TrickMaster-house, doctorquest (ok possibly needs cerulean cave and naero boss), desert lagoon, sevii island. And most likely a few more. Seems pretty much for me for a 1 year old FREE2PLAY game, which is FANMADE, where Staff earns 0 MONEY. And the game is still evolving, many things are getting added. Just to make it clear cause: Then u said: U dont need to grind like a boss for hours and hours if u just wanna finish all 3 regions and get access to all quests/sidequests. Yeah its harder than in the handheld games, but if u lvl your pokes at the right spots, its no big deal. Thats my opinion tho. -

Do u have dex-data of volcarona? If yes all moves which are implemented are listed in its dex-entry, cause it has to learn fiery dance with lvl/move tutor.

If it just would be Lum-Berry. xd There are few things not working like in original games, its not game-breaking but yeah u are right stall teams are more effective than others atm. But the game is still evolving, new things gonna be added in future and pvp-meta gonna change cause of this. And yeah smth special here is that u dont have a team preview, so u have nada idea if your starter was a good idea etc pp. Thats another reason why stall is good in PRO, so u have more opportunities to scout without getting punished to hard. U have simply no idea what u are facing and what are your best win conditions. xd Letz say its not cool to lose 30 points cause u played highly offensive team vs guy who just got lucky af, even if he has the same skill as u. And if u beat him u just get 3 or 4 points, so u need to beat him 10 times again to get back to your old points. Thats kinda sucky tho. :P And i totally understand why ppl go stall/balanced cause of this. Cause someone has less points doesnt mean he is playing worse than one of the top 25. Most of top 25 or top 50 or whatever have just played more games. So they invested more time into it. And im sure they are not super stupid even if they might not have the knowledge like a battler of your class since D/P as u explained very detailed, haha. :P U cant tell me that the guy with the shadow ball flareon i faced recently makes it with this team into top 25 any soon. xd Yeah and thats what im trying to explain ppl every day its not super important to have the most epic pokes to be successful in pvp. 90% of them still dont believe me. :P Sure, i would like to read that.

If the event starts officially u gonna notice that under "Announcements". I dont know why he has the icon already, but i think its a bug. xd

What stage of the storyline/questing are you currently at. It could be that you haven't completed any of the pre-requisites concerning the storyline questing. I didn't have any issues with completing hoenn last night. I have the same issue. There are several NPCs btw who come at u to battle u, but dont battle u. Its a matter of a few seconds, so no real big deal. Several NPCs on water routes still have the bug e.g., but since u dont pass them that often its not a big problem. Prob with Psych Wade is that he is at a point of the map which u often pass, so yeah thats kinda annyoing. And yeah ive done story since 4 days after hoenn was released. xd

It isnt coded yet. ;)

Cause it just can evolve into hitmontop, other evos arent implemented.

No worries man, u get better with more experience. Just keep trying to get better and think about what u could have done better in each match. As i said in my first post, to get used to most kinda pokemon, u should go for a balanced team. So what u wanna have is: Breeloom, Gyarados, Weavile, Talonflame and if u play the classic sets u easily get outclassed by other teams since u just have physical attack sweeper. xd Thats fun, i agree!, but not balanced. ;) Since you are annoyed by a lot of hazards and dont have own hazard support i suggest to add: physical wall(hp/def) or tank(hp/atk) with donphan: Rapid spin + Stealth Rock access spdef wall calm tentacruel (bold with def investments works too): Rapid Spin + Toxic spikes access + can soak of toxic spikes by switch in like every other poison poke. physical wall Skarmoy: Stealth Rock + Spikes access + Whirlwind (if opponent sets up a few swords dance and u just dont know what to do u just whirlwind him out) Ofc there are a lot other options but these just have come to my mind.:) Also i suggest u to add a heal bell/wish(softboiled/roost) support. Helps vs teams who constantly try to toxic, burn, para u! They are most of the time spdef walls (your goodra doesnt have heal bell acess afaik) Classic examples are blissey, umbreon, florges, togekiss, clefable and so on. As i said dont run 4 physical attackers. If u really want talon and put others out u NEED a rapid spinner/defogger in your team. And u shoul have gale wings on your talon to be most effective whats not easily to get. Yeah i highly doubt that beat up works properly in PRO, put that out. xd A possible set can be KnockOff/IcePunch/BrickBreak/SwordsDance. Night Slash and Ice shard are also good options and can come in handy. Experience and predictions can let u get a dragondance off. Its never a good idea (in my opinion) to get a set up to early in the game cause u dont know the opponent pokemons and switch ins at the begin. So in best case u dd and he switches out in a counter and u are forced to switch out too or u lose your gyara in 1 turn in worst case. There are many options to get a dd off. Opponent sleeps, you cant get 1hkod by rest of the team so u can freely dd etc pp. I suggest u run Taunt/DD and then 2 attacks out of EQ/Crunch/Aquatail. Taunt is a good move against enemy walls. Most opponents are still suprised of a taunt. So letz say u face a Wall and predict he is about to lay down stealth rocks or another status move. U taunt him, he is crippled. Next turn he has to switch out u can get a free dd off without any regrets and can hit it hard in the next turn.;) Well as i said with experience u get a better feeling off when to dd and when to just simply attack. :)

Sometimes u find in the Shiny Rock a Relicanth-Fossil and we have 3 opportunities to revive it. I tried all of them at least twice. Fresh Water - Its melting, seems working as intended ToothBrush - Its just a rock, nth happens, seems working as intended SodaPop - I have some in may backpack, its not recognizing that i have some and keeps saying i dont have SodaPop so i cant try it, seems bugged. So atm there is no chance to revive the fossil. Did i miss smth? Or might u guys take a look at it? :) Thx!

Its working now! :) Mapper also looked over it one more time, thx for your help guys!

bug bite deal normal damage to flying type
Coop33 replied to Kiritousui11's topic in Battle System Bugs
Hi, are you sure Bug Bite was dealing neutral damage on your Fletchling? If you received a message that read something like "It's not very effective," then the mechanics are working properly. Can you take a screenshot the next time it happens? Here's a guide on uploading images within forum posts. yes i'm sure i didn't read that msg after the attack i will take a pic if it happened again Its sometimes the case (for whatever reason), that the message "Its super effective/its not effective" doesnt pop up even if it deals the right amount of damage. Keep an eye on the damage tho. -
Yeah i think u just had bad luck. Very unlikely to fail 15 times in a row, i agree. But as i was hunting noibats it worked pretty well. If they didnt change smth super weird in the code it should be no bug. xd I also had sometimes the case where synch was failing to often. Last time i remember was in steel valley where i tried to use a relaxed synch and each one of the 10 pokes i caught had another nature. xd I just catched another synch and used it. xd But i didnt think it was synchs fault, just bad luck.

Some guys said me that Froakie was deleted from game, I'm confused, because he's at Pokedex #656 in the game. U just can get Froakie by boss reward atm. Its a possible reward from boss Arnie. Thats the only way to get it atm.
-
U know the effect wear off after the turn? Pls show a proof or test it out again. So with your example: Talonflame vs Exca in Sandstorm: GW-Talon Roost acts first ---> Exca EQ hits. Flame Body-Talon Roost acts last ---> Exca EQ misses cause talon had still his flying type. And after each turn, doesnt matter which, Talon has his flying type again.

Make sure u dont use outdated guides. None of them is catchable in safari afaik. U get venipide/whirlipede by headbutting in specific routes. Its rare one so u need to get lucky or being patient. But there are several places. Froakie is a boss-only reward from Arnie atm. But rare drop rate. Gl!
