You should not try hosting a tournament without experience in hosting this kind of tournament.
1v1 and 2v2 are Gimmicks and not actually competitive formats.
No one WANTS to level their comps to 100.
100's is cool, but 50's is better for an MMO like this.
Easier to get to and still competitive.
Lvl 5 is not a thing unless we're talking little cup.
Lvl 30 is not a thing.
However, imo this community should be more concerned with standard tournaments.
Standards consist: OU,UU,Doubles(Upon implementation) NU
You're gonna need a tier list council to form the tiers PROPERLY.
Looking at you staff.
Hoping those on staff are a bit more interactive than those of PokeMMO.
I've hosted quite a few (Way too many tourneys in my day), I'd hate to see them done poorly here.
Edit: Not to say that playing that way is not okay, jet saying what needs to be done here.

This community needs time to grow a little more before there is a serious discussion about tourneys. We have no clue how long its even going to take to make full teams seeing as breeding wont be a thing and certain moves are going to have to be obtained through different means. Also Ive only met maybe 10 people here who even really know what comp play is so this could take a while.
I agree with Ares on this. When you first get on the mmo when its released people will want to just play the game for awhile. Comp is fun yea but not when you first start out,

Can someone explain to me how TS server works? Can someone create one test server and send me full info via PM? I want to check something.
Works just like Ventrilo, Mumble, etc.
It's similar to IRC, except you have to port forward and set up your own server, or have a paid server which can house more people (like a Minecraft server). The problem is, it's difficult to moderate such an environment, and it likely won't last long.
Moderating can be diffucult even if you're ghosting all the channels. Then again, skype or own TS groups can be held within players/guilds etc. Doubt its really a necessity.
Then again, it may be demanded in the future by the time the playerbase grows.

The type of music you listen to tells allot about you. Some listen to jazz, some dubstep, and some rap. I personally am a metal head (i like rap too) and love bands like: Zack Farlow, All that remains, intervals, Device, Tech n9ne, raunchy, Breaking Benjamin, Scar symmetry, etc. I also like Hollywood Undead. Hey everyone!
(Started in Alpha) I have decided to start up my own guild, that I decided to call “Metal Crew”. You have may have seen me else where here on the forums or in-game. I want this guild to be consisting of mature players only. We'll have a skype group and eventually a Teamspeak if we get big enough.
About Us:
You join all these guilds/clans, and either there is too many people, and not good leadership, or you join one that is on the verge of failing, and zero activity.
We are here to offer the best of the best. We aim to please our members by providing them with active, and on task leaders, and bringing in Quality members! We are not here to show numbers, We are here to get to know our fellow gamers, and build a gaming community everyone can call home. Metal Crew is a group of players who have honed their skills by Training with each other without whining like babies over it, when you play with each other you get good. we play for fun while still being competitive. Our guild is very easy going, we have to be because if your not you will not be in this guild very long. If anyone is wanting to join just talk to any of the crew mates and your request will be taken into consideration by the leader Mephilist.
JOINING PROCESS:
In order to join you must message a crew member and they will tell Mephilist, we will discuss it and than you move on to a period where you play with us and join our calls (skype, ts, etc) to get to know us (or just comment here a little bit about yourself). We would love to have a very skilled player but if your attitude is not good than it will not matter how good you are you WILL NOT make the cut. We look for relaxed gamers who love to play and are good people and must have an understanding of game mechanics (at least be decent). Time for this varies.
CODE OF CONDUCT:
- No lying about age
- No drama (this is a biggy)
- No scamming
- No hacks
- Respect everyone
- Listen to Staff
- Don't harass other players
- follow in game and Forum Rules
Pretty simple rules, if you cant folow them please understand we are not afraid to kick. 1st Failure to abide by these rules will result in a warning and 2nd will result in being kicked.

- Only one entry per user. A single person cannot work on multiple entries. Posts may be edited until the end of the contest.
- Entries are only to be submitted during the contest. Late entries will not be accepted.
- Each post must contain both entrants' in-game names. Additionally, each user must post at least once in this thread.
- The entry has to be completely original. No alterations of existing images can be used.
