    Repeated player pvp

    Since i started pvp in this season i have faced this person 4 5 times now we keep getting connected i am reporting this in order to let the mods know.i Am not rank boosting we keep getting connecting out of nowhere so i though i might report this

    Trainer Rework

    I havent been offered anything new while in the early game by then I'd likely have

     

    If you are trying to compare this game to the handhelds and expecting a similar experience to that, I regret to inform that this game may not be for you. This game at the beginning of his development wasn't a game that "try to hold your hand" throughout your journey, but to expect you to work hard for your dues.

     

    The goal of the Trainer Rework was to fix the provided reasons explained in the OP which I gladly quote once again.

     

    • The level progression curve for Kanto was broken, being very easy in the second half of the story, but suddenly becoming very difficult starting at the Cinnabar Gym.
    • Every trainer gained 3 levels every time you fought against them, capping at 12 levels.
    • The move-sets of their Pokemon were simply the last 4 moves they learn by level up. This often resulted into poor movesets, such as a level 60 Clefable using Spotlight or Double Slap.
    • If you lost against a trainer, the trainer would enter cooldown immediately, and did not need to be re-fought.

     

    If you expected the grind to be removed with no challenge as compared to the handhelds and not in the case as similar to an MMO which this project goals aim for, then I refer to my point that this game isn't for you. I also do want to mention that there will be more reworks down the line also as this is just a small update down the long road of revamping the game in whole. Though do not expect the "grind" part of the game will just disappear.

     

    (Oh and there's also resellers in the game. Probably you may have missed them.)

    If you indeed had a Macho Brace, then that would lower the speed of your Pokemon.

    Please do know that is definitely intended as it lowers the speed of your Pokemon to double the amount of EVs you recieve.

    Locking this thread seeing this is becoming a bit too hectic.

     

    While I generally try not to speak for the Content Team, the idea brought up by the OP is a bit too drastic for the game itself.

     

    For the game, we pride ourselves by making the game a bit challenging for new and old Pokemon fans alike.

    Now currently, you can be able to gain PokeBalls freely from PokeStops, the actual overworld, as well as other activies such as bosses and etc.

    Due to this, there is no need to be providing pokeballs freely if you are able to take the time completing these tasks. If not, it just devalue progress in which I can see where most of the disagreement comes from in this thread.

     

    In conclusion, the content team with the current setup are trying to reward continious play time. I do hope with this moving forward, you can probably come up with an compromise. in another suggestion.

    The visual bug is quite well know and will be fixed in the future, but as of now it's quite low priority afaik. Though we do make a general note regarding trades which I have posted in the Discord and most staff state this quite often. I'll post a screenshot of it below.

    We ask that people keep images of their trades in the case of needing staff intervention. If you are scared regarding this possibility, having image evidence would ease the tension of this issue ever occurring as the Trade Moderation Team will always be there to make this issue avoidable till the issue is patched out.

     

    I hope this answer maybe lessen the scare regarding the current issue on hand.
