  1. So what you're saying is, someone that offers the last bid 2 minutes before an auction ends wins the Pokemon because of a cooldown period? Nonsense. Auctions run until the end time, anyone that gets the last bid wins, no ifs or buts. Who cares about ethical reasons behind bidding, we all know what we are doing when we attempt to buy something with an expiry time. If you don't get the last bid it's your fault for not securing buying the Pokemon for the Insta / a price that won't be beaten in the closing moments. Like I said earlier, I fully agree on a selling being forced to sell if someone has started the auction.
  2. Auction started at 4:59am 2 days ago, the auction lasted 48 hours which made 4:59am this morning the last bidding time. Navneeth on that basis got the last bid. Attachments follow show this. Thank you all for bidding. Can be closed.
  3. Understood. 48 hours from your post, auction ends.
  4. Picture shows what I'm selling. Start price 300k. Ends 48 hours from the first bid. Minimum increase: 100k. Insta: 2.5m
  5. I've seen reserve bids of less than £10 in the UK, it's a very common place-hold in auctions. I'd wager that 95% of auction sites in the UK have this. (This is however beside the point.) I've not once suggested a reserve bid should be added on PRO, so your forum response states absolutely nothing constructive at all. I have said that a minimum bid being met should force a seller to sell, this in turn would drive up minimum bids which doesn't counter who holds the cards in a trade. PRO doesn't need some salty people dictating how the trading system should or should not work. At the end of the day, if you bid on a forum post stating they have the right to not sell the Pokemon if the price isn't suitable to them, you know what you're getting into. The other alternatives are: - Don't bid on said auctions. - Don't try undervalue something. - Insta the said auction.
  6. Eventually the 75c you spend on a pickaxe can be recouped on shiny rocks. I've been doing excavations for a long long time and I'm still yet to see a Litleo in the Feral Site shiny rock. Yet, I've had 4-5 Rotom which have sold for much more than the original cost of the pickaxe. The issue isn't that you won't eventually make your 75c investment back (because you will) but rather, that it seems a very long time before you do. Maybe a little tweak. +1.

    Prankster

As much as I love Prankster currently, it's a change that should be made if it can. +1.
  8. Yes they do, I'm not entirely sure what kind of auction house you was working in where a reserved bid didn't exist. It's a very common placehold in auctions globally. Providing the seller and auctioneer are both informed, which I said previously if you read my post. This post stinks of buyers trying to get power in transactions. Like I already said, no matter what rules are brought in, it benefits either the selling party or the buying party. A buying party should NEVER have more power in trade than a seller. I see a lot of complaining but absolutely no suggestions on how to change it.
  9. Server moving was open a short while after the merge, you can see that thread here. The applications to move server are not currently open and may not even return in the future. Your friends will have to remain in Gold or Silver until these applications open again. Keep an eye out for announcements to see potential opening dates for server changing. In regards to an answer to your thread, it is my understanding that Gold and Silver are not planning on being merged. The sheer capacity of players would not be able to be contained on only one server. If you were around when only one server was available and the player capacity was much lower than it is today, you would not have had to endure the 6 hours queue waits. While it is regrettable that you wish to change servers and your friends do also, you will just have to wait and hope for a server change in future. Have a nice day!
  10. The Pokemon you have noted are not yet available for seen or catch data in PRO. 492 - Shaymin 494 - Victini 641 - Tornadus 722-Onwards are Generation 7 Pokemon which are not quite added into the game yet.
  11. When surfing in Route 119A, going directly under the bridges pushes out the Jetski Sprite on both sides.
  12. Good morning, Depti. I do not know if you already have been informed but as of a few hours after your post here, Stockpile was added to Snorlax's Pre-Evo Move Tutor.
  13. Good morning, Neal! PRO Staff Recruitment opens when the current staff team feel they need additional support in whichever departments they are thin on. You can find the PRO Staff Recruitment threads here. Currently the only positions open are Discord Moderation positions. Alternatively for mapping and other artistic posts you can showcase your work here on the forums or in certain Discord channels to get yourself more recognition.

  15. It's called a reserved bid. An auction will start at under the reserved bid and if the demand isn't high, and the reserve bid isn't met, the item doesn't sell. That's how auctions work. Auctions having a minimum bid which has been met should not be allowed to follow this practice since a reserve bid is usually only know by a seller and the auctioneer. So the only thing I would agree to is if a seller minimum bid has been met they are forced to sell the Pokemon. This will only increase the minimum bids to unrealistic resale prospects, which doesn't benefit anyone other than the seller. Pointless even discussing it, there's no alternative that fairly distributes power in sales because it will always benefit someone more than the other, and in my opinion benefiting the seller is better than the buyer. -1 remains. Good luck.
  16. The selling party should always hold more power in a trade than a buyer. The item that is being sold is theirs and theirs only until an agreement has been made. The difference between the reversal which PreHax mentioned is: A fake bid and retraction could have been accepted, the party fake bidding may not have the funds to pay the agreed price and has given the seller misinformation. That is against the rules. A buyer reserving the right to not sell is nothing even similar to that. It's just how it works in auctions in everything around the globe, why should PRO change this and give a buying person the right to whine and get a Pokemon sold to them for a price a seller isn't happy with? That makes no sense, bud.
  17. -1. In case you don't know, in the case of many auctions in real life; namely antique and property, if a certain price isn't met the sale does not go ahead. If a player is not satisfied with their final offer they should have every right to not sell and try maximise their own profit. At the end of the day, people bid on those actions and read the rules of that action beforehand. If you don't want to be a victim of not getting a Pokemon at a much lower value than it's worth, don't bid on auctions where the seller has reserved the right to refuse the final offer. Again, -1.
