  1. People will be able to trade. Hunting is not the only way to get certain Pokemon. Say you want to hunt for Pokemon X but you catch Pokemon Y which is collectors Pokemon. A collector may want to trade etc.
  2. You might want to re-read my posts again. Especially ones for spawns.
  3. No, it would make it a lot harder like in some other games. Given that you aren't happy with the time needed to invest to level up. No I am not saying that. Lets see, 20 Pokemon. Propel level scale and Daycare services. I say one week tops. I do not recall saying that. No one ever said we won't have tiers. No one ever said we will only stick to simple one type of a battle. Explain 50 system little better to me please. As for other MMOs, My standards are saying to me that there is a barely any decent pokemon mmo outhere. There is no decent enough Pokemon mmo in my books for now. However, my game is always submitted and opened for a change on a daily basis. We shall see how it will play out eventually. But currently a leading one to be written down in my books. Don't take this as anything confusing. I simply have my own standards and I am working on things together with other staff to get it there. We could simply release the game half year ago and be in slight advantage over other mmos. However, myself and other staff do not want to a game where player effort may be gambled with in the future or massive update done that will have impact on same. I am little confused here. Why would you be forced to do anything and especially what is stopping you from building a level 50 team? I am failing to see your point. You aren't forced to level up Pokemon to level 100 to be able to battle with others. You should be aware that people will do level battles such as level 10 battles, level 50 battles, no-evo battles and what not. No one is stopping you from doing these. As for standard over used battle you can have say level 100 tyranitar and level 1 aron and battle. It's really up to you what you will use. You battle on what you agree with your opponent. Remember, we are yet to separate the whole battle system but I am not talking about it in detail. Read my paragraph before this one
  4. If you are worried about leveling up your Pokemon I can always remove my custom areas and downscale the levels I did for those Pokemon and maps they are to be found on. Actually no, I am led to believe that most of you never reached those maps given the statement made. In any case, I don't want a player to become competitive in a day. Indeed the end game will be mostly focused on battles and in order to reach there you will need to do some portion of effort. You are confusing the mmo setup with a battle simulator.
  5. Those two are very close related. A computer is number 2 tool used in that kind of a job, brain is 1st one. So it eventually comes down about finding balance between those two. For an example; you have people who are often referred as coding monkeys. They do standard level of coding but putting little thought into the actual purpose of why coding they do is being done which later will result is things being transparent but somehow it will work. This is a very common among small time hired coders who will do a day or two job for money and what not. Then you have people like Silicon valley geeks with good programming level of skill that it comes down to addiction and obsessions and doing a long term projects. Those often tend to avoid labels given. However, you also have people who can take best out of those two and use computer as a tool to manifest what your brain is trying to achieve or to help you out with doing things. This is where people often get carried away when they select a career. Going too much into the tool that is supposed to help them to work on primary task will result in primary task being ignored very often and they may even forgot what they role actually is. Thing about autistic people is very specific and peculiar. To be fair, I had no idea what autism in past. I did had some doubts and what not but refused anything. I tried changing the way how I live and then it backfired. For instance, I never had idea that other people may not think like I do. I am a pattern based and visual thinker. Means I think in pattern and pictures and I connect them. Everything I see for an instant I instantly memorize it in my head for later processing. Say normal people may need 2 days to remember a book of 100 pages, I will remember it in much shorter time and I won't ever forget any word from it because those are permanantly saved pictures of my head and I connect them. Those ways of thinking do not exist in a typical brain. That is where confusion started. I was failing to understand people around me, or they failed to understand me, depends how you look at it. However, one has to pay a good price for different way of thinking. For instance, I never liked to play with other kids, I can't spend 5 minutes in a supermarket or more than 10 minutes in a caffe bar due to too many people around me. As a typical human you are able to filter them out and focus on one person only. In my case, I am not able to filter those, especially sounds so it causes massive halt in my head where I eventually suffer from a meltdown where brain simply overheats due to receiving too much info. Say, if 10 people are talking all at same time I remember what they said each one of them, but when you add few more on those 10 I simply shut down. Hell, I couldn't even follow 2 people talking nor I could have any decent conversation with anyone. Meh, can't even now talk with people IRL simply because I do not want and it is stressful. I am able to talk and express myself given that I am high functioning. THat is very huge spectrum my friend. You have people unable to talk and unable to care for themselves all the way to people with autism without even feeling it ever. It's very huge spectrum. But we all have one thing in common, we apparently live in the world of our own. I don't mind it and I like it this way. If someone was to offer me a "cure" I would never accept. Not changing what I am. I tried to change but it severely backfired. We live in the same country and you are well aware that we had to go in the military when you finish school. From there it went ok, I learned many things but tried to change myself and it backfired if you get my point.
  6. Autistic people are having very very hard times lying from my own experience. If I lied something now by any chance I would pretty much tell that next minute or day after directly or indirectly. If you can successfully lie then you are a first autistic person I met that may lie. How you managed to go through school all that time? Most of the high functioning autistic people tend to have severe troubles there due to too many people in same spot and brain gets overwhelmed due to all processing it does even if they are given speech gift. I was absent a lot from school, never studied almost because I remember all during class and what other say. I remember when I was 7h grade in primary school, i skipped like 5 months of school yet I managed to have the best grades out of all students. Well after all, the suspension rule they have was not applied to me given my condition they were aware about. I later faced problems with university, couldn't cope with all those students I couldn't even last for 5 minutes so eventually I gone home. Where I was able to cope was the military I was obligated to join. My life change on better there and I became more immune on every social stuff. I did managed to go into the faculty of criminal science as an irregular student and I will be tending it without other students around me more or less. Shall see how it will play out. I am many years late for an uni though. most of the people they start tending it from age if 18. I am older though.
  7. Them distancing from the subject and trying to use formal language can be seen given that English is not their primary language. That being said, it takes an effort to make your sentences more or less, depends how you look at it more professional alike. Why? Simply to prove the point from where they stand. Yeh indeed, there are too many of emotions. That can tell us that a liar is not mature, does not have most of the obligations like adult people do. To sum it up, they are yet to find the place under stars for them. As for PRO lie you are totally right. When you are talking with people with English as a non primary language those traits are being exhibited a lot more given that they need to put more effort. That being said, they were not able to present the valid evidence or explanation, how come that their IP was found spamming wiki. Even if there is a case of dynamic IP being assigned to someone else, chances of it to be assigned to someone who knows about PRO, let alone about wiki is 0%. After all, they said it originated from them but they don't know who did it from their IP. Given that they don't know who did it but they know it originated from them is rather a case when someone is being lost as they make up the story. There is also one factor that I never mentioned above but it was exhibited often. Well, it is more profiling of someone who did something. In this case we have a culprit who reacted on our statement in a specific way. Instead of filtering out the provocations during appeal process they became rather aggressive without ability to back up their story. Typical behavior of someone who is not mature and got lost in their own story. Then again, they do not have a proof that they never did it. On other hand we do have their address that was proven to break the rules.
  8. Moved few topics in proper forum...
  9. 5.99%
  10. He was trying to show the Vigoroth being far away from you. Thats not really a bug because you are speedhacking plus you jumped on a collider.
  11. Ok check here for bugs
  12. Yeh not a bug. He is trying to tell something to you. Idk
  13. Red

    Battle

Forget about those. Proper rating system is due to be introduced very soon.
  14. what is the image you are trying to put?
  15. Well as for battle animations, our artist who was doing them is away due to rl issues. They aren't happening anytime soon. Not those fancy ones. Anyway, if something gets overlooked it SHOULD not be marked as resolved without explanation given. Can happen accidentally though. In any case, you can always report the issue and demand the explanation. For instance there was a number of mapping errors "overlooked" or deemed non bug but they were all addressed in order to resolve them and progress is being done. As for NPC errors, there is a higher possibility of overlooking because active scripter has a lot to catch up with and to see two scripters working on stuff at same time I,e; one works on Kanto other one on Johto is a rare sight because they are often busy or their computers might be derping on them which is leaving us with an active staff while others pops in occasionally which often conflicts in updates done by same rank staff. In any case they do what they can. There will be also dramatic decrease in mapping productivity due to head mapper going to military tomorrow. Himself won't be able to provide like before. That leave us with a barely active scripter and a barely active mapper given that others are away. Given those circumstances certain staff can't afford leave of absence from the project due to massive halt in the system that might occur if doing so. After all, not everyone runs on uranium powered batteries. However mappers mostly did they part so there wont be so much of a need for them to do something concrete. Then again, doors are always opened for new mapping apprentices as well as scripters. However, people are expected to be a cut for it. Not accepting anyone who might be lacking of skills or any other issues as well as shady background.
  16. Re: Decent organization <r><QUOTE author="RoyalHotness"><s> </e></QUOTE> I am not worried about other games because my game is in the league of its own plus I really have no other game or community to look upon. Hence why I am here after all. As for organizing we have that covered and the team is organized as well. But there is that another thing. I can't really put a pistol on someones head and force them to work if they have other problems that have higher priority than the project. <br/> <br/> As for overlooking. I am going to tell you something interesting. Good number of testers do overlook things and they often fail to determinate what could be the priority. I.e; can moved Soak have greater priority than a money or Pokemon exploit? That being said, every time I login in the game I myself see the bugs that were previously labeled as tested properly. I even came to that point that I had to call my 8 years autistic cousin to help me with bugs. You could see his reports for kanto (maps only) that were previously labeled as done from testers. And when you look at it, dozen of people overlooked same things where one 8 years old kid found them all. Overlooking tends to happen and we have a proof of it here that applies for both staff and players. Do not mean to discredit testers work in any way. In matter of fact you did and keep doing one hell of a job that I appreciate a lot. Just sometimes you have to think globally rather than locally.</r>
  17. Re: Decent organization <r>We are opened to <URL url="https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=45"><s></s>recruit<e></e></URL> new people with actual skill. However, there is not much of a interest coming from players. If there is one then it usually comes down to lack of skills to do certain task or becomes inactive when work is needed to be done. That being said, the game direction is okay and people are more than organized given the above said circumstances.</r>
  18. Re: Decent organization <r><QUOTE author="RoyalHotness"><s> </e></QUOTE> As a tester you have the right to report even if report gets overlooked. NOTHING should be closed and resolved without explanation given and I do agree on that one. However, amount of fixes is so high that things will be skipped depending who is doing the fixes. There is also work behind scenes that tends to be more than equal to actual bug reported on the forum.</r>
  19. Re: Decent organization <r><QUOTE author="RoyalHotness"><s> </e></QUOTE> Links?<br/> <br/> - Players are being told everything they need to know. Ratio of fixing things is good. If something gets overlooked ask for reasoning why it happened in a first place. Second, I am yet to see another game that is providing fixes and updates at this level, even though there are lots of bugs that were cardinal mistakes to begin with. Another thing is, we barely have one active scripter who will go over reports. I can do it as well. However, the amount of things I am working on does not allow me to do so since I am working on them ALONE and there is no one ELSE who does those or help me. Same goes for Shane and others doing stuff alone. If something gets overlooked its natural to happen. You can always address those. Remember, we are a team of handful people who actually work on stuff comparing with similar games that so many staff got changed and nothing noteworthy has been done. Pay them a visit for a change then re-post. I am actually happy with the work my team is doing. Short in numbers yes, but gets the job done. Remember, you can count people who are fixing those reports of yours on your left hand fingers.</r>
  20. you left out bugs Victor! Bad report HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA HAHHAHAHHAHAH :boot: :boot: :boot:
  21. that?
  22. Tell me the forum you want to put the guide section in
  23. Ok. I was confused a little because everyone was beating around the bush. That's like a 2 seconds update and I can do it. However, what makes me little vary is moderation of said section and updating it properly.
  24. Do you have a concrete idea where would you place this guide?
  25. Oh I see. Thanks.
