So frustrating I had to log out... too much time spent for nothing.

I've been on Route 120 in search for Absol for 3 hours and not a single one was found. What's the point of this? I mean, I see there have to be rarer pokemons, it's good, but like this is just ridiculous. spending hours running off pokemons and finding nothing... come on. Let's raise that spawn percentage a bit!

I've resolved with an escape rope, and the teleport seems to work fine. but I see you can only teleport within Hoenn... how can I get back to Johto or Kanto?

So, I'm now at (Zigzag)Hoenn - Petalburg Woods, and still don't find a good spot for EVattack-training my Torchic. he's already 252 spd but less than 40 atk. Wonder when I will find a good spot for attack training? How long before that from Petalburg woods?

So, I have this Rattata lvl 52 and I don't know where to train it. He's way too weak for battling against same-lvl pokemons, and too high for gaining needed exp from lower level pokemons. I'd be very grateful if you would give some advice for getting this rat to 100. (I've got roughly 60 hours of game so I'm not an expert at all, and I don't have access to cerulean cave).

That sounds really frustratinng.. Why would they do that? I think it's just for the sake of complicating things.
