If you want people to stay interested in pro, esp those on the verge of leaving or those who have left but look at pro and forums for some hope into new shit, you should at least bless the community with some sort of information. +1 trey. Definitely give us all you can so we know what's going on.

What? Assuming that I haven't even play competitive without knowing me at all is "talking facts" and "not condescending at all"? Excuse me? Is this discussion real? Please, just, please. When you don't know someone, you don't assume thing, that's all.
Allow me to clarify since you responded with "????????????????". You said the generation 4 metagame was interesting and I am agreeing with you but I am also saying it is not competitive without team preview. If you are confused by that then I don't know what else to say.

And regarding your last comment. Nobody assumed that you know nothing about competitive Pokemon. He claimed that it is a possibility that you have little to none experience. He didn't openly say "You have no experience with competitive mons". This discussion is very real and you seem to be bothered by the fact that you're one of the only people who disagree with adding a mechanic to PRO that will revolutionize PvP.

You mean that 4G wasn't competitive because team preview didn't exist? Tell me if I'm wrong. I disagree but I can understand.

Anyway, I'm not saying that team preview is a good or bad thing, it would for sure revolutionize PvP, but I prefer to play without it because it's a part of the unique PRO meta.

4th gen was only played hardcore because of the introduction of other people abilities and items like every other gen. Once Team view was implemented you shoulda seen the boom that caused in the pvp player base..wow.. it wwas crazy and ever since then it was by far the best thing they have added to competitive pvp and on top of it there was hardly ANY complaints. Also I was not basing you about your pvp knowledge I was just making a statement.

-1, PRO metagame is unique because there is no team viewer. I don't want a copypasta of Showdown/Cartridge metagame.
This will not be as u say copy pasta. For one many many mons abilities and items r not coded and we don't have a page of teams we can just copy and paste. U need to buy or hunt. The fact of the matter is that if you don't want team view then you probably haven't played much of competive play ever. Showdown and handheld started team view as of gen 5? This is mainly to nerf some mons abilities and and game sweeping from a mon u didn't know exsisted. But for real if there was team view it would bing so much hype to pvp and the pvp w would be full as hell xD. Like I said there is no sub form on forums where we can copy and paste pro teams from and there won't be xD

They knew about anticipation it was part of the game once you hit their whole team anyway lol. Hello being a contributor means nothing to anyone and it doesn't show any type of authority.... I been playing competitive pvp for years now and been around a lot of talk with the game *not pro* and being in this game based off of a 6th gen style and not having tp is a bit triggering. About the mons items and shit and being coded this effects team building very very much and was only pointed toward team build not to the game itself and how hard it would be to properly team build. A lot of stuff won't be coded tbh so yeah...

If this were a possibility but is being overlook I think y'all should get to implementing it bc of the fact of how many inactive players would get back into pvp as well as myself and a lot of people from handhelds and sd. Just from a simple team view could bring a lot of attention to the game ;( ples implement ;(

<t>The ability Sand veil is not affect by the evasion clause what so ever. Never has been banned in competitive play and never will be so it dont need a ban here. If you have a problem with it go get yourself a skarmory or a quagsire or something because its really not a problem at all.</t>

<t>mm if i remember i played a sableye with wilo vs many chomps in sand and the amount of wilos i hit vs missed was like 20:2 so i dont think the acc is bugged on pro i never had a prob with sand veil and i faced it many many many times</t>

There's nothing wrong with that ability and has been analyzed many times and never had reasons to ban in in competitive play. There's nothing wrong with the abillity at all. In my opinion this thread is clearly biased af and needs to be closed and if another one is to come it needs to be AFTER testing and by the STAFF who can manage people who will attempt to flame in order to keep others from voicing their opinions.

I am also curious as to why you didnt make a thread about defog+poison heal sooner? that "illegal" combo has been available for ages.
Anyway, mods should close this topic imo and decide themselves on how they want to proceed with "illegal" combos, no point in arguing here
If you read I was going to incrop them after one was banned but I was foucused the the real problem vs the minor and yes they're going to close this and start a voting thread. This was to see how people feel about it and yes I'm sorry people who don't know anything about pvp shouldn't vote imo

Softboiled+Unaware is not illegal on Showdown because its too strong but because that combo cant be legally obtained in OG games. PRO is not showdown or one of the original games, PRO is a game where this combination is available. And about not knowing if Clef is Magic Guard or Unaware, entry hazards/status conditions easily reveal it. Also while Clefable is undoubtedly strong, it has plenty of Pokemon that can deal with it. If someone allows Clefable to go up to +3 or more then tbh they deserve to lose. This combo is not nearly as overpowered as Genesect, i dont see why anyone would make that comparison(its annoying as hell, yea, but its not something that is incredibly difficult to deal with).
One final point: if this combo gets banned then all other combos like defog+poison heal should be banned aswell, just like other people said.
Just my opinion as an average player
yes i agree all illegal combos should be banned if clefables soft+unaware were to get banned i was going to ask the same for gliscor ect
