I've been told multiple times by different people within discord it is not calculated by percentages. If I'm wrong please link me some sort of proof.

In game you can customize your chat colors if thats what your wondering: In the bottom right the "" symbol is able to be clicked. And change settings for each channel to your personal needs. Sorry I couldn't show you more indept but red is down currently.
