Where did you try playing the game? But you can avoid these rollbacks in future, once you give a item to Pokemon, logout, so it forces the server to save your game to the time of when you logged out. Hope this helps and we are sorry that you lost your items.Sorry to say but items lost in server rollback cannot be returned. Although, you can try get one via digging or from Clefairy as held item.
