This is not a bug, if you walk on carpet there's a teleport block to exit the gym, You just should walk forward :) But thanks for report, enjoy the game !

Can you describe your problem ? Could you post a screenshot of the bug ? Try to totally close your client & reload

Tryed myself & i haven't black borders for this maps :/ Try to reinstall the client ?

Is the bug fixed with new client update ?

Try to disable Detailed Lighting, Weather and to Limit FPS from the Graphics option menu. And set a low resolution (like 800 x 600).
