Unlucky that you have this issue. But don't think for one minute that donating gives you special priorities to solve issues. Donating is your own choice and to support the running costs of the free-to-play game, don't try to refer to donating as if you should be treated specially, or more in favor of others. Good luck with finding a resolution.

I noticed after someone posted for sale, the shiny Deerling sprite is not present, the normal Deerling sprite is being used instead. But when the pokemon is following you it has the correct follow sprite as per below;

I think this is the kind of feedback we need. It sheds a lot of light on the current situation even without necessarily revealing the reasons (which as you said could be potentially exploited). I for one appreciate this feedback massively, and feel glad knowing that it's being worked on behind the scenes as we've not heard much about it before. So thank you!
