Hello ShiroGokou I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but as soon as you lose against a wild Pokemon or a random NPC in your case, you'll lose aswell 5% of your total amount of money. This restraint has been done to make the game more challenging. I advise you to always get a Pokemon that can carry you in your team, just to be safe.
