Gen 7 Teleport has no competitive use. Only gen 8 Teleport switches your Pokemon.

That's RNG for you. Sometimes it can be rough, other times it can be forgiving. It could take any hunter, having an equal chance, 10 to 1,000 encounters or even more of that specific Pokemon before finding an event form. What Pokemon were you even trying to hunt, and where were you hunting? I wouldn't say that the rates are impossible, they're definitely possible, especially if you hunt at the event maps, as most of the Pokemon that spawn there all have special forms. Spawning an high tier event Pokemon however is of course going to be much more difficult, and I don't understand your reasoning for thinking hunting these should be more friendly. I don't think the Spawn Editors had this in mind when they were putting in the spawns, but alright, let's say they did. You don't have to hunt as if you're a robot. Take a break, go outside. If you spend hours simply hunting, it's obvious you'll burn out quickly. Botting is a different issue, I believe everyone has their own reasons for botting, either because they don't have time to hunt, are lazy, or something entirely different, but that's not the point of this post. The spawn rate isn't crazy impossible, I need to hunt for 2+ hours straight for high tier Pokemon. Please do show me a screenshot of someone hunting for 2+ hours and not encountering the target Pokemon. I would love to see that and i'm sorry, but the argument ,"They catch 500+ bagon and 0 epic, let alone event form" does not make sense. You're blaming RNG, something that cannot be controlled, for not catching an epic Pokemon or event form. How were they before Hoenn reworked them? Show me an example. Also, you said, "Tier 8 are going to take 500 encounters to find 1 and tier 9 will take 1000 to find one." Are you implying that they're going to take that many encounters in the future, cause tier 8's definitely don't need that many encounters to spawn one atm, and we don't need to talk about needing to encounter 1000 Pokemon before finding a tier 9. Again, that's RNG. You can't expect to spend hours in an activity that relies heavily on RNG to get epic IVs or even decent Pokemon. It could take anyone as little as 1 hour, or even 10 hours or more to find something good. High tier Pokemon should stay high tier, there's no issue with it right now. The point of high tier mons is that they are supposed to be rare. Making them easier to hunt is a big no from me. You can suggest a spawn change here, but personally I don't like for high tiers to generally be easier to hunt. Check this thread out, made by PreHax, before you suggest anything: How to identify a good or bad spawn & how to give proper feedback. There's also quite a bit of information you can use in that thread that will help in your post. I can see spawn reworks happening, as long as they make sense and are balanced. Also, I don't understand why you keep using the term human friendly here in your post. I think the word that's supposed to be used here is easy, because that's what you want right? Your analogy, "Carrot-On-A-Stick Online" does not make sense. If the carrot is the epic Pokemon/event form Pokemon, then what's the stick? You're in no way forced to hunt and get an epic Pokemon, you can take your time and hunt at your own pace. There's no punishment if you don't find an epic Pokemon, so please don't say that. I could go on and on about how RNG is heavily the deciding factor for encountering a rare epic Pokemon, but i've already said that numerous times, so i'm sure at this point you'll understand my points. Sorry you had to feel this way, I'm here to try and help and explain everything to you, but to say PRO is P2W? That's unnecessary. I'll give you some examples of P2W games, so you can compare this with PRO. This is sort of going off-topic with the main idea of the thread, so I'll put it in a spoiler. After reading the above spoiler, you can really tell the difference between spending money to buy CC's or any other money-making item from the coin shop in PRO to sell and make money if you compare them with other P2W games. PRO is not a P2W game. I'll be glad to say that your opinion that certain players are locked out from ever finding a certain target pokemon above a certain threshold of ivs with right nature and ability is false. RNG isn't nice, and I can tell you don't like how RNG works. It's not impossible to find, they are simply very rare to find. Saying 8 hours a day for a year is quite vague. You could, just as an example, get 50 encounters throughout the whole 8 hours one day, and get 100 encounters the other 8 hours the next day. My point is that you can't properly measure how rare a Pokemon is just by telling us how long you've hunted it for. For all we know, that 8 hour hunting time could have been cut a lot by taking a break, chatting in the in-game chat/Discord, checking other tabs, etc. Tell us how many encounters you've had in total. This is a much more reliable way to compare spawn rates. With all due respect, numbers do mean everything, but if you blurt out random numbers with no proof or evidence of getting those numbers like how you did multiple times in your post, then those numbers simply don't mean anything and have no value to them. I'm not here to assume things, but judging from the way you're saying 8 hours a day every day for a year, it seems like you were the one who experienced this robot-hunter-like behavior. If you did have to go through that, what Pokemon were you trying to hunt, and where, again, just curious if you were the one who experience that. Why is it impossible to find? You can't say the system is busted and that it's impossible for the player to get that Pokemon without buying it from someone else just because RNG is not being nice to you. When you say hunters, you mean hunter, as in you, correct? Because when you say hunters, in its plural form, I'm lead to believe that multiple hunters have this issue, which I do not see happening at all. I hunt myself, and I have never thought of this at all. You're saying players with the most hours in the game still haven't found anything good that they have been trying to find for 5 years? Is that an exaggeration? You're joking when you say this, right? With 3511 hours poured into the game, surely you're not serious. Negativity bias is real. People tend to overlook their high tier decent/epic Pokemon catches, completely ignoring them, and only looking at the fails they get, this applies to hunting in PRO. Well, that's all from me. A tl;dr isn't needed cause I recommend you to read the whole thing. Looking forward to your reply if you do choose to do so, or at least hopefully this post gave you some insight and knowledge on how spawns work.

-1 Xenoverse is great, but adding custom Pokemon to PRO would change everything, and it would not fit.

implemented Mental Herbs low obtainability -> add them to the PvP/PvE stores.
Raika replied to Luohan's topic in Suggestions
+1 Herb sisters do give 2-4 them weekly when defeated, but that might not be enough if you're using a team that uses those items. Being able to buy them from the pve/pvp coin shops would be nice. We can already buy the Power Herb and White Herb from the shops, so why not the Mental Herb as well? -

a turn should not be missed by accidental second sleep attempt
Raika replied to Xdzin's topic in Suggestions
-1 If you fail to remember that an opponent's Pokemon has already been put to sleep, or if a Taunt is still active, then that should be your mistake, and the opponent should be able to capitalize on it. The battle log is very useful for checking these. There's also the fact that Sleep Clause works the same way in PRO as it is in Showdown, so there's really no real reason to change it. -
What G3n said. Also, what do you mean by high-level Pokemon, and why must it have a repel trick? What is the benefit of having a repel trick for the Pokemon, aside from making it potentially easier to hunt?

Taunt immediately shuts it down. Encore forces them to use Cosmic Power over and over. Haze and Clear Smog resets any boosts. Roar, Whirlwind, and Dragon Tail forces a switch on the opponent's Pokemon. If your team is weak to setup Pokemon, Ditto is a good option. Something I often see suggested in the forums is to ban move a, ban move b, or ban Pokemon a. Imo, instead of using the forums to suggest to ban a move or Pokemon, why not ask for ways the Pokemon/move in question can be handled? Just as an example, Clefable can use a Cosmic Power set. A good Steel-type Pokemon with Taunt, like Heatran, can win 1v1 after a boost. One last thing, if your opponent is playing like they're battling a boss, doesn't that make it easier for you to play around? All in all, -1.

Hi @rahz Respectfully, when you were creating this thread, were you trying to: Report a bug, the bug being that a tier 8 Snivy (As seen on Reborn) feels like a tier 9, while providing no supporting data or evidence to your claim that you found 1 Snivy per 2 hours, and no comparison of another tier 9 Pokemon, such as Furfrou at Route 217 or Honedge at Cave of Justice. Suggest to fix this bug, saying, "restore the rarity tier to 8" assuming it felt like a tier 9, again, with no comparison at all to a tier 9 Pokemon. If you were trying to report this as a bug, then I can assure you this is not a bug at all. In your post, you claimed, "it is actually tier 9, since it takes 2 hours / encounter .", but we can't estimate spawn rarity by hunting time alone. If you were to report a bug such as this one, you'd need to instead provide the total encounters and total Snivy encounters you've gotten, as this is a much more reliable way to measure this. Calculating the time a person took to encounter 1 Snivy is almost always going to be irrelevant, since the time between each encounter differs. We also have to consider the fact that one might not fully dedicate their time to hunt in the 2-hour time frame, and will leave to check messages on Discord, chat in-game, get up to get a glass of water, use the bathroom, etc. In an attempt to disprove your claim of 1 Snivy per 2 hours, I've went out of my way and decided to hunt at Forest Pit for a total of 6 hours and 41 minutes, not including breaks. I've documented the spawns using PRO BetterFarm and put my data together in a spreadsheet so it'd be easier for you to understand. You can open and check the spreadsheet out here: Forest Pit Snivy encounters I only hunted during the morning and daytime to avoid Murkrows, which could potentially mess the numbers up. Following the spreadsheet, a total of 25 Snivys were found in under 7 hours. 5 Snivys before the 1-hour mark, another 5 under 2 hours, 4 before 3 hours, 3 after the 3rd hour, 4 in the following hour, 1 in the next, and 3 in the final hour. Of course, the spawn is sporadic, resulting in some skewed data, specifically between hours 4 and 6, with only 1 Snivy found in that hour. We also have to remember that the bigger the sample size, the more accurate the data and average will be. Basing this off of only 2,000 encounters will not be as reliable as say, 50,000 encounters, however, just from this data, we can conclude that the number far exceeds the Snivys you've encountered in 2 hours, which is quite questionable. There is a wonderful tool created by Kaminokage used to calculate the percentage of spawns that you can find here. I've input the different Pokemon and their rarity in the calculator to be calculated 3 times, inputting the Snivy in 3 different tiers. Tier 7, 8, and 9. The following are the results: My final result, even with this small of a sample data, when hunting the Snivys were 1.25%, which is way over Snivys tier 9 spawn rate, 0.68%, and slightly over Snivys tier 8 spawn rate, 1.12%. Note that my numbers were concluded from a sample data of 2,000, so it might not be accurate with skewed and irregular spawns. This can be evident if you look at my 6th - 10th Snivys, and my 14th - 16th Snivys. As an extra bit of information and comparison, I hunted another tier 8 Pokemon, Bunnelby. My end result with Bunnelby, in 2,000 encounters, including the spawn rate from the spawn calculator were as follows: In conclusion, no, the spawn is not bugged. Should it be changed or reduced? I don't think it should. Snivy never had a spawn before, and only recently has it been added. Plus, giving Snivy an easier spawn can potentially shake up the Serperior market, but that's up for another discussion in the future. When hunting Pokemon, especially rarer Pokemon, there is a term called Negativity Bias. This Negativity Bias simply means the tendency for people to pay more attention to negative things, and pay less attention to positive things, usually negative outweighing the positive. The same can be said for hunting Pokemon, if you do not find a good Pokemon. Just be patient and stay strong. Eventually you'll find what you're looking for. I do hope you understand, and that this post helped you. Please don't take it as an offense, as I am trying to help you understand how spawn rates work, and perhaps in the future if there truly is an error, then you will be aware of how to report it properly. Finally, if you were interested in the Snivy rates per Snivy, I'll post them right here: Snivy 1-13 Snivy 14-25 + Encounter 2,000

I've missed my chance to get the Gengarite last Halloween but I definitely do not have the same opinion as you. It most likely won't be the ONLY chance we can get the mega stone anyways, as can be seen from previous seasonal legendaries that we could catch, like Shaymin and Darkrai. Mega Gengar is far from useless, I can agree on that. You can use Mega Gengar in Bosses, Sinnoh's Battle Tower, Suspicious Bot, etc, but I personally think that having the Gengarite stay as a seasonal quest is fine. It gives us, as players, a sense of achievement once we do get a hold of it, making it feel special. If they made a new quest to get the stone, where anyone (or people who've completed a certain region) would be able to obtain the stone anytime outside of Halloween, then that'd just defeat the purpose of making it a reward for 2020's Halloween quest. Also, just a small detail, but Umbra, the Mega Gengar you battle in the Dark Realm and Battlefield, go hand in hand with the Gengarite, so it fits the theme. I wouldn't go as far as say that only G3n's and Comrader's opinions matter. I think everyone is entitled to an opinion, each with equal importance. Both G3n and Comrader presented their opinions, and provided reasons as to why they think so, which is feedback as far as I know. This whole conversation is not useless, I can tell you that much. If I'm getting this right, he meant time as in a seasonal event. I can understand that some people missed out on getting the Gengarite, as did I, and that you want to spend as much time using Mega Gengar outside of ranked, hence why you made this suggestion in the first place, but in the end a suggestion is a suggestion. We're here to give you our feedback, take it as you will. If it doesn't get implemented, please don't get upset. I missed out on catching Darkrai for 2 years, and managed just fine. I'm sure you can do the same if it doesn't get implemented. Edit: -1
