I was fighting Erika boss

my Crawdaunt used dragon dance 6 times

it one hit beat Ludicolo, Volcarona and Shiftry

but only do less than half of HP damage to Torterra with a critical hit

my Crawdaunt could out-speed Torterra at that turn

that means the risen speed was remained

but risen ATK disappeared

Torterra doesn't have Unaware ability

that's impossible to do that less damage

I tested it, it is confirmed that critical hit would ignore risen ATK

My guess is that after the first big update coming lately, they added them perfect nature and evs on bosses pokemon.

I noticed many changes, doing them every 12 days since years.

Now they outspeed more poke, they hit stronger and they tank better.

yeah i guess, i make bosses everytime i can, and like u said i noticed some handle more hits than before, but its not normal that crits make less damage than without crit

That's jolly Crawdaunt vs a +defense nature with full evs on def and hp. Sure, this is lvl 100 but I really doubt those extra 20 levels buff it so much.

Here's what a crit does to a lvl 100 Torterra. There might actually be a bug here unless they buffed bosses beyond a normal amount of base stats or evs.
