I killed Registeel unintentionally and went to fight against Nikola for a rematch, but when I beat him and chose Registeel he told me that he was not fit for it. What have I done wrong?

If u killed the registeel in hoenn that one isn't the one that is catchable. The quest to catch the regis is in trainers valley. U can only fight Nikola if u killed the one in trainers valley

• What happends when you talk to Boss Nikola, does the same dialogue appear?
  
  • If yes, could you provide a screenshot of it?
    
  • If no, do you remember the exact dialogue after the match?

  [*]Have you any other legendary Pokémon fail caught?

  [*]Are you sure you have choosen Registeel and not any other Regi?

I'm sorry, but it's currently not possible to refight Registeel with Nikola if you caught Regirock or Regice.

We will rework Nikola in the near future.

I've removed your cooldown on Nikola, but you have to wait for Registeel or choose something else.
