As i said, when you put a current offer it means that you are doing an auction, if there is no auction and no ending time the thread does not make sense, at least add a time limit then.

You can still choose to post the talonflame with the insta you wanted removing that "current offer" line which only belongs to auctions threads, and simply wait for people's offers in PMs or here.

Also, the screenshot you provided only shows "Deadlock"'s line, to be considered 100% valid, it would need the entire picture with your name and the rest of the conversation.

And if a player is actually harrassing you, you are free to report it.

 

Isn’t there such a thing as a “best offer so far”? Sometimes people don’t want to auction something, they have a price in mind but are also open to offers. If I were to offer for such a Pokemon I would want to know what the best offer has been so far so that I don’t waste either of our time with a low offer.

 

Why on earth are you guys policing trades so much? Pokémon is old and it’s fans have also been around long enough to know how to handle themselves. If you really want to have strict auctions or buy out prices why not prioritize implementing an ingame/web based auction house instead :|

I think it is pretty clear that BO and CO can be used only regarding auctions. We do not allow eternal auctions, like the threads author wants to do. What can be done, is just let the Pokemon here receiving bids and accept the best/most satisfying. Claiming CO to gain more money is an auction and there is no eternal auction in pro.

 

We moderate trades so much, because users report and message Trade Moderators so much. We also moderate trades so much, because of the many infractions and wrong handlings we see every day and for years, even if you think that our player base knows how to handle trades themselves. Thats a totally wrong impression and I wish it was like this. Some people will yell " Oh Tmods are not doing anything about this trade", others(like you) will yell "Oh Tmods are policing every trade", but Tmods will keep doing their job as they are supposed to do. Feedback is welcomed, but it is TMod's decision on how to handle a case.

Auction House is in Staff's future plans and I hope to have it soon.

 

Users that aim to fight here or insult each other, ignoring Staff's warnings, will be punished since next offense. This is Trade zone and the rules will be enforced.

Cannot claim any offer. He can write : All offers below Xmillions are rejected etc.

I understand your quoting Iraf, but the thing is , unfortunately it doesn't go as smooth as you quote or wish to be mate, not everyone is as cool as you neither have a forward attitude or have a simplicity or honesty to their trades on the market of PRO like you.

I used to moderate in the past on another platform i can tell you it is a mass of headache and daily hundreds of reports,

If you went to the administrating quarters of PRO , you will find out users around you in this server even maybe among your friends are reporting each other daily and complaining being insulted or deceived on a trade or scammed or reporting an abusive attitude to an auction or a dealt or non dealt trade.

The policing trades have been edited couple of times and every new rule added or edited was simply done due to a new popped up issue with a no rule to protect or solve it.

The too much policies Iraf might seem roughly firm , but they're keeping it in a formal systematic way protecting you along as well.

I wish it was as easier as you want it to be but sadly it is not.
