Mega-Pokemon Hunting Contest

Welcome everyone. To celebrate the release of the first wave of Mega-Pokemon we decided to host a Hunting Contest. This one will work similar to the contests that have already been hosted in the past, for example on Eumi Island.

This contest will start on Monday, the 17th of August, 2020, 00:00 GMT+0. In order to participate you will have to submit your best Pokemon to the NPC in Vermilion City below the gym. There will be three splits, each one will last for exactly seven days.

 

The person who caught the Pokemon with the highest points will be the winner for the round. In order for the Pokemon to count for a round it has to be caught in the same round. Do note that your Pokemon will not be deleted after you have submitted it.

Please keep in mind that rarer Pokemon will get bonus points for their rarity. Shiny Pokemon will also get extra points based on their rarity.

Umm, What's the point system? Like Levels + IVs + Shiny + Tier? It's not mentioned above so am curious All it says Tier and Shinies gives extra points

As stated above is the Price for first week Tepig, for second week Snivy and for third week Gible.

Snover's natures for the contest are kinda wrong.. Jolly, Hasty and Naive are useless since Mega Abomasnow has 30 base speed. Should replace those with Brave or something

Those are for regular abomasnow. And it doesn't matter, in fact it's good that it has alot of natures able to be submitted for a better chance to get the correct nature in case the sync fails.

IVs get multiplied, the multiplier increases the rarer the Tier is (multiplier for Tier 2 is lower than for Tier 8). If you submit the correct nature or ability, extra points will be added. If your Pokemon is shiny, you get extra points. These points scale with the rarity aswell. I hope that clarified some things. If you have further questions, pleast let me know.

As Darksun20 already mentioned, these natues are for regular Abomasnow. More natures won't hurt anyone, in fact, they will make more Snover get additional points.
