Delayed Evolution Purpose

Well basically, I don't know how to explain more... but in my experience I train the pre-evolution is faster than evolution :Bored:

And it also experiment for many pokemon, for example Karp lv20 and Gygardos lv20 has exp need to lvup is very different. You can look in game by yourself.

I don't know this curve in the website has been calculate correct or not, but when looking for each level - it's totally wrong at all.

WON'T BE ABLE - that's make me laugh  who said it, what page?

You can check it

https://pokemondb.net/pokedex/bulbasaur Base EXP is 64

https://pokemondb.net/pokedex/ivysaur Base EXP 141

Hence, you can see it not the same base exp  Also the reason for delayed evolution is learning moves as some pokemon have different move pool when evolution.

That's base exp yield gained from defeating them, not the leveling rate.

Leveling rate should have stayed the same throughout evolution, what changes is the base exp yield.

ApplePie is talking about leveling rate, which becomes people's reason to not evolve right away.

Either the PRO staff mistook base exp yield as leveling rate, or the different leveling rate in PRO is a custom feature intended to prolong gameplay.

Considering what other things the PRO staffs have done, it's more likely the latter.

So can we go to a conclusion that in the real pokemon game, unevolved pokemonwon't level up fastercompared to its evolution, but it does the opposite in PRO?

The server may have added an incentive for leveling unevolved pokemon

but it's never, not once, ever been a part of the pokemon series.

Individual pokemon forms do not have unique exp requirements: they belong to "groups" that comprise of six types:

Erratic

Fast

Medium Fast

Medium Slow

Slow

Fluctuating

For reference, starter pokemon are Medium Slow, while most Legendaries are Slow.

None of the evolutions of any pokemon at all change the amount of exp required.

Not one bit..

So if that's true on this server, it is a server-exclusive feature, not a canon pokemon concept.

EDIT: I asked Chappy in chat and he confirms the existence of unevolved pokemon leveling faster. Asking for a source as to how that's from canon pokemon solicited a facepalm and no source.

PERSONALLY CONFIRMED:

Sacrificed a low IV Growlithe and it nearly TRIPLED the amount of required exp from level 6. It also manipulated the base exp value of the Growlithe.
