I was wondering why I am not able to get to evergreen island. I am currently at the evergreen water and have all the requirements completed but the cave entrance is closed. I know the area is only open during December and January so I was curious as to why I cannot get it

My apologies for the inconvenience. Most of evergreen island is only accessible during the seasonal Christmas event, which lasted from the 9th of December until January 10th for this year. On the other hand, Evergreen waterway is accessible because it's part of the Kyurem quest, which is a permanent addition to the game.
