this won me. noble sacrifice by my starter. And usually dragonair attacks with hyper beam, time it right with dig you're invulnerable.

What I mean is there should at least be some form of acknowledgement beating him hehe. Like he used revive on dragonair and attacked me directly rather than another battle. Still the results will be the same just a slight change of its delivery would be nice :D

Point is, you're not supposed to win this fight, and even if you do, good for you, he only used his dragonair, try battling his "real" team later on. Also note he just destroyed a town, yeah...

Either way as has been said, you technically lose.
