I showed to oak my charmander(not my ot) and he accepted it, after fully trained when i shown to him he is saying "Sorry this does not appear to be the same charmander you have shown me".

Could it be that you transfered servers after showing the Charmander for the first time? The ID of your pokemon changes if you transfer servers which could cause that issue.

I  transfered to silver from gold. And I bougth charmander in silver, I didint change server after changing silver from gold.

 

you need the charmander to be ur ot bro 

@ForgiveMe The starter does not have to be OT for that quest.

Hi there, my apologies for the inconvenience and the delay to get a response. Unfortunately you bought this charmander on Gold and not on silver, which is why you are having an issue as Norex stated. You should be able to fight Oak by re-transfering.
