Not banning the ability Arena Trap as a whole but the Pokes with the ability that belong in Uber

Trapinch isn't banned, just it's one of it's abilities are. Besides, sheer force trapinch is better in every way, so just as an overall end, -1. It just makes no sense not to.

The pokes with the ability are UBER because if that ability. You think dugtrio is too powerful for OU so it was banned?

just the ability doesnt make it uber, trapinch with that ability never would reach uber level but ok. in real pokemon trapinch doesnt reach uber so wouldnt it in pro. the point u try to make is trapinch would be too broken for the game with this ability this is just not true lol

I mean overall, arena trap just ruins a lot of pvps aspects, switching, predicting, Trapinch isn't weak if that's what you're getting it, 100 base attack is not small in any way.

Just to quote from the Smogon article:

I agree—banning Pokémon with Arena Trap, which belongs to Uber, makes more sense than banning the ability itself. That way, Trapinch stays usable. It’s kind of like understanding what is an Uber model—context matters!
